Very Nice Todd, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. How are you and your family keeping during this pandemic? I had the pleasure of speaking with one of your students this week

You could name her," Oni Kiri." Yes, that may be a little overly simplistic, or too "on the nose." I'm sure you'll come up with something more deep and symbolic. At any rate, she's a beautiful piece of art. Thank you for sharing! Stay safe.

Love seeing one of those boxes on my doorstep. Nice looking tanto. Tsukamaki looks well done. Love the fittings especially the tsuba shape. Enormous kissaki. Remember the sellers name?

Very beautiful, how many inches long is the blade? How many inches long is the knife handle? How many inches wide is the blade? How many millimeters thick is the knife blade?

That is beautiful! Is that tip a super long yokote transition ? Also, would that be called an O-tanto? I don't know where and when to call a tanto an O-tanto yet. That is almost a fine replacement for a wakizashi for your daisho 😁
Anyway it's amazing I'm very happy for you, the furniture on that is just amazing

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I was wondering if the yokote is geometric or just a polishing trick to give the appearance of one

Hi. Sorry, I do not. I know I typed "tanto" in on Ebay, then search for ones that are above the price point of $200 and many. many from China will pop up. Then just browse and choose. There are tons for sale on there of different shapes and sizes from $250-$2,500. Good luck!

Very nice, but don’t open such packages outdoors. Styrofoam does not belong to nature.
