Faker's wrist injury (actually his elbow) is not fully healed yet. He changed his mouse, sensitivity, and gaming posture to prevent the injury from getting worse, and he struggled throughout the summer season to adapt to it. I think this is one of the main reasons why Faker's form suddenly dropped after the spring season. And the DDoS attack was a major reason why other T1 players' forms also dropped. They couldn't play solo queue properly for a long time, and their scrim schedules were disrupted. Of course, these are not all the reasons why T1 was in poor form. The meta didn't suit them, and they failed to adapt to the meta. However, if there were no such external factors, they would have shown better form even before Worlds.

Some people still don't understand what nerves and pressure do to you. It's a completely different game when you're playing in front of thousands of people and every mistake you make is amplified with cheers and screams its nerve racking. T1 is built for this simply because they have Faker and have done it before a lot of these other players are just not built for the big stage.
Not just Faker, all five of ZOFGK are extremely experienced with the biggest of stages. This 5-man roster has stuck together for 2.5 years and never finished lower than third in ANY tournament. Reposting this from an earlier video since it fits better with the current topic.
The reason behind T1's recent improvement is due to the following:
1. **The Meta**: This one should be the most obvious.
2. **DDOS Attacks**: Believe it or not, T1 players are still experiencing DDOS attacks in Korea. Why? Because there are Chinese betting sites that wager on T1 games, even on Faker's solo queue matches.
Now that the team is outside of Korea, they are safe from these attacks thanks to the change in IP, allowing them to practice without disruption.
3. **Fewer Distractions**: T1 is the most popular team in LoL, and they're involved in a lot of promotional activities-commercials, TV appearances, etc.
Since they're currently outside Korea, they have fewer obligations, which means more time to focus on their games.
