- A guided walking tour of the Newport Beach Pier and neighboring restaurants/shops. The Newport Beach Pier, located at Balboa Peninsula, offers stunning views to the north toward Huntington Beach, and looking south, you'll see Laguna Beach. This five-mile stretch of beach boasts a bevy of activities. Swimmers and sunbathers flock to the beach in summer and winter, capping off their day in the sun with a night of casual or fine dining. Skate, bike and board rentals are popular, and surfing off the jetty is prime. The vibe at the Balboa Peninsula is youthful and fun.

NEWPORT BEACH IS SO COOL. WE CAUGHT SUCH GREAT WAVES, AT BLACKIES, IN WINTERS, RIGHT THERE, NEAR THAT PIER. PRETTIEST GIRLS IN THE WORLD.
Dana Point/ Salt Creek beach is my favorite in the OC.

I love Balboa Island. As a teenager, we had a great time during Easter Vacation on the island at "Bal Week" that included Laguna Beach and Palm Springs. PS...that was in the 60's. Nice video of Newport Beach

The area around Newport Beach Pier looks really nice! It is pretty interesting how many people in this particular walk were wanting to get attention which was really cool. Despite the parking it looks like a nice place to hang out for the day!

Balboa Beach is one of my favorite places in the world. I wanted to bring my husband and son to the Balboa Fun Zone. Unfortunately, the arcade that has the old school games is closed since 2017. I think they still have the Ferris Wheel and all. I definitely agree....it is no easy feat to try and get parking on the weekend. Again, thank you for the tour. I enjoy your videos.

Hi Nicole.. the fish market at the pier is called Dory Fishing Fleet and Market -- 2111 W Oceanfront, Newport Beach, CA 92663. Not sure what their operations are like due to the pandemic currently... another good Seafood market in Newport Beach is Santa Monica Seafood on 17th Street

Awesome video chris. It made me remember of the time I went to Newport Beach and there was a lady screaming and crying that Britney Spears stole her baby. It was hilarious. Then I saw the lady you encountered. 😂😂. Still was a beautiful spot

I bought tickets for the whale watching cruise at Daveys but my son also wants to play on the beach during the day, so essentially we would be spending the day at the beach. I read there is a max 6 hr parking limit? Is this true? 🥺
I think of you park in the main parking lot at the Balboa Pier you can park all day. 6 hours sounds like a really weird limit

I don't do it to look cool. I do it pick up good audio. I actually was wearing 3 microphones for this video to test. And both the Lavalier and the Rode Wireless Go were blown out by the wind. So yes. It looks silly.. but I look silly so ya'll can watch a better video.
