I finally understand why this drama is interesting, yet does not captivate me.
Many characters struggle and ache because of something but I don't know what it is, I can't make out how much I should feel sorry for them, or even how much I should care for it.
It's already episode 25. I think I would have cared more had I known what, why, who, and how much I should care for...
but it is capitivating for me...
It's the 25th episode and still not captivating enough. I watch because of XuKai, but the rest of the characters arent interesting enough. The storyline is confusing and not really good. A group of people band together to go on an adventure to do needless things. Shifeng character is not needed nor the other lady. Zhaoyan is so stiff in her acting. And who cares about their past? Even if they know it, like Qi what does it change?
I agree I like the group of friends and I care for them but the rest I can't sympathize with them even if that mask boy is in love with her or her master, I am even hating that little rude brat

I honestly don't blame Maiming. Unlike Zhaoyan he is the one who had to see everyone of his twins die after having their life energy sucked out of them. He could neither die nor leave. He has been suffering this way for more than 200 years. Anybody would go crazy after something like that.
