I was doing research on the Apple Watch Series 6. I came across your video while looking into the accessibility options. I’m also a person who is blind and I found your video very informative. Thank you. I’ll be checking out more of your content and I’ll be subscribing.

I got my Apple Watch Series 4 this summer… I love it… I actually got it because I have severe balance problems and it monitors if I am falling… There is also a function called SOS button which alerts the emergency services automatically for me… I’m in the UK

I like your video. Just curious have you ever tried any other smart watches besides the Apple ones?

I recently went completely blind and I just found your UA-cam channel. I was looking at getting an apple launch and I was curious if it had voice over.

Great video! Is there any way to pinch zoom on iPhones? I really hate the magnifier gestures on iPhone.

How does the heart rate monitor work. Is it accurate. I want to use it when I cycle at the gym and be able to monitor my heart rate in real time. Tks! Nancy

Do I have to carry the IPhone to make phone calls or does the watch allow you to use that functionality on its own?

Nice man, that's actually the first time I've seen the watch close up so I enjoyed that! I know I would like to learn more about the haptic feedback feature that lets you know the time. Also using it for navigation with or without VoiceOver. Oh one more thing, how hard is it to hear? Can you use any kind of headphones with it, those new Airpods maybe?

You can hear it extremely well, and you compare it to any Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers. Even some hearing aids.

Have you ever done a video on the exercise/workout features of the apple watch and how they work as a blind person?

Actually, I believe I have done a video about that topic. Not sureI covered everything it has, but I went through some of the features. Of course, I'm sure things have changed now especially with Apple Fitness Plus. But, it might give you some helpful tips!

So I’m thinking of asking for an Apple Watch from my parents and like can you get like Siri to work on your Apple Watch and like how do you turn voiceover on for it to start working on the Apple Watch

    • @LifeAfterSightLoss
      @LifeAfterSightLoss  2 роки тому

Hey! The Apple Watch is great! Siri does work on the watch, You can just start talking to it after you raise your wrist or say "Hey Siri" like on the phone. For voice over, you can use the app on the phone or triple click the digital crown (once you turn that feature on). It's similar to using the iPhone. Good luck!

    • @LifeAfterSightLoss

Larry Testut I just tried this and an happy to report that yes, it sure does! It actually turns it on and off as well as taking you into the VoiceOver settings. Good question!

Do they make a android watch for the visually impaired?

    • @gracedabbieri6608

Almost all android watches have some accessibility for the blind. Try the galaxy watches.

The title says for the visually impaired. Most of this is not for the visually impaired
