the truth is: they all have big ego they think by going solo they can make more money and will be success as westlife and sadly emotion take over all of them, 9 of 10 boyband go solo always fail, very sad if they can just put behind all ego & problems there's not to late to come back together again coz millions of fans waiting for them to come back
I don't think that WL decided to separate themself because of their ego for solo career. They were build for a group and they commited to their function (2 or 3 as lead vocal while 2 other as back vocal) till 2012. If they all have big ego.... WL would not go for 14 years. *IMHO
They ended at the right time, but they also came back at the right time. They're one of the few boybands, bar Brian, who didn't fight or have ego problems. All they are built for is Westlife I think, no one wanted the solos

This is wrong. Their manager asked Shane about going solo, he rejected the offer until he got bankruptcy and got no other choices than doing solo.
