White castle.

William FitzOsbern, 1st Earl of Hereford may have commissioned the motte and bailey castle here shortly after the Norman invasion. Due to Welsh revolts king Stephen made it into the three castles lordship with Grosmont and Skenfrith castles.

A true border fighting castle, member of CADW myself, interesting that the ticket office is not staffed, it seems driven by cost cutting, though the membership cost is now around £70 (joint). Great video my friend, love your stuff.
