I’ve got the hyper vintage (black) in my Ibanez rg1070pbz (bridge and neck) and, I couldn’t be happier. A huge improvement over the Dimarzio’s BUT, there was some milling out of the pickup cavity.
The opening sound is great. I am going to upgrade my Roundhouse with that bridge pickup! Ken also has suggested me to use it but this video is the only that confirm it 🫡
Great video and desvription of what you were looking for a d what you foubd. Did they fit into the PRS pick-up ring? I put one of these on my HSS Strat and had to get a new pickguard. PS: Ken from Reverend is awesome

It's interesting to compare Duncan and Railhammer, especially the vintage outputs.I think the RH claim that they are voiced more clearly( articulate)and robust is legit, - but maybe,,- that's not what you want.The P90 RH copies are something to themselves, as are the Cleancuts, but the Pearly Gates and Lovers have a spitty,modulated, quality I prefer; but I also like the Fender Wide Range( Lover) design, and vintage Alnico 2 Minis. Remember that MORE isn't necessarily better; balancing the collective input and output of amp, pickups, and effects, will usually provide the better result.

These pickups allow you to get away w/ lighter gauge strings because they're overwound to compensate for the reduced volume.
