This was fun, I got my Arcade out....you can get some pretty cool melodic jams. Th only challenge is moving your fingers quickly enough to keep up. My guitar fretboard it ain't...Lol
ua-cam.com/video/-uckt1o_EUM/v-deo.htmlsi=v5V0-q8weTjtom81 So, watched this video and thought about the PO-20. It won’t do everything, but definitely has some potential with pedal point in mind.
It's funny when you did that in the last video, I immediately noticed and started messing around with it as well. I'm glad you made a dedicated video. PO-20 is my favorite....though I won't lie that you're starting to convince me I need a PO-24 as well....or maybe splurge for a PO-32.
THANK YOU for this tutorial! I lost my progress a couple of times due to a slight shift in battery position, but managed to come up with something pretty darn cool… now to work on a pattern in my SUB to see if they can work together!
Okay this video really helped refresh my memory of how to use this device more to my advantage. I'm about to explore all your P.O 20 videos. I've had this device for about 8 years on a whim and glad I kept it. This PO is, as you've said before, one of the most complete POs out there. This paired with the Rythm make a cool combination
I never knew that about the sounds, that's awesome. You learn something new about these things everyday. I usually just lay the sound into the pattern, hold down write, and turn knob A while it plays. It will write the progression into the pattern as it plays and save it for you. PS. Thanks again for the heads up on the Zoom H1, I finally got everything together!
Thanks so much for this. I have the Arcade, Rhythm and NTS-1, and always find your vids super useful :)
Thanks so much for watching! That's an awesome jam setup you've got!

Yeah those buttons can be super awkward to play quickly lol. Appreciate you watching as always!
is there any 8bit machine like this in the world? teenage engineering guys are genius👍
Check out the HapiNES synth from Twisted Electrons. Way pricier, but still a cool looking machine!
Nice insight, thanks
Thanks for watching!
