Deep thinking, for me, involves viewing the world objectively and then analyzing my emotional response to this reality. I then delve into my emotions to understand how they are interconnected. I also make corrections if my feelings do not align with the person I want to be.
I agree with wanting to reduce ties and burdens but its not always about minimalism, i for one have many hobbies that require a lot of tools to refine and improve my skills and knowledge. Can't always be minimalistic... you need to be comfortable having many tools to get the job done right, or easily. You need to be able to step away from society to understand where you stand and whether you are being used by others or society in general.
Definitely don't agree with minimalism, as minimalism means you have less tools at your disposal to do things with. I'd rather say it's Functionalism, where investments are made in tools and functional items over excessive decoration. And when you have a lot of functional things, you need space to keep them organized and at hand.

Personally it depends, most of the time I don't go against the grain, hell it's a good guideline to follow the crowd when you are less informed but... once in your element and knowledge there is no need to follow the crowd anymore. I know the field better than anybody so my instinct and knowledge is much better than the crowds so why do something less efficient?
I despise being misunderstood. It's why I have a tendency to over-explain, in order to make certain I get my point across in the correct manner. Being misunderstood feels like I have failed in expressing myself clearly, and I can't stand failing. Note: I'm assuming the 'being misunderstood' is within the context of a conversation, otherwise I don't particularly care.

I increased my conversation skills just because I found it hard to be understood properly... then I realised I would have to be too verbose all the time so I gave up unless it really matters. Plus explaining yourself in social settings makes you lose status for some weird reason... just give up and be as vague and obscure as possible, if it has multiple contradictory meanings even better.
@@DarkVeghetta Well, there are people who are simply awkward when communicating with others and are therefore poorly understood or not understood at all. In this case, appropriate coaching/seminars would be a way to improve your communication skills... But it may also be that you often try to convey things that are simply "too high" for others. If you talk about things that the other person has only dealt with very superficially or never at all, he cannot and will not understand you or understand you only inadequately, no matter how simply you explain it to him. Communication also requires emotional and social intelligence, not just education or IQ. If you're dealing with someone whose first two types of intelligence are either undeveloped or poorly developed (and you'd be shocked if you knew... how widespread this problem is in this world!), communication will most likely be very frustrating and unsatisfactory. Then it's not your fault, it just means that you have more mental depth and are overtaxing the masses because you differentiate or analyze better and more precisely than they do. In this case, you should learn to accept that it's just a typical trait of a true Sigma. Ask yourself why you think everyone has to understand you... because that's a pretty unrealistic undertaking! Not even Jesus could do that, right?

Interesting! I've never paid attention to so called types, to me it was a way for society/people to generalize the population. After viewing, everything presented here matched how I think, felt, and live. To me all these traits are normal, not abnormal, it's just who I am. Thank you, you've given me a different perspective that I didn't consider.

I own my own house so that is a miss. Self evaluation comes early and after understanding and refining we don't change much. Came to terms with my mortality and freed me from the fear of it.. don't know if he would have actually pulled the triggers but he shot himself within two weeks of that day. Everyone thinks they are a sigma male because of the way videos depict them being a sigma can actually more than not stop the ability to succeed in life and cause some very serious anti social traits. Everyone sees a video of sigma males and a picture of John wick or some celebrity they like and instantly I’m a sigma this is actually the opposite of sigma behaviour.
Characters are not real people, so they tend to miss a lot of the unfortunate side-effects of personality types and quirks real people have. From what I've seen, John Wick might be classified as such, but he is a larger-than-life caricature of what a sigma is. This is fairly normal, as the same happens for every other archetype. I will agree with you that many believe themselves to be sigma because of wishful thinking rather than actually having said traits at their core. Then again, these archetypes aren't an exact science (some would argue they are the furthest thing from it and more akin to astrological archetypes), so it is understandable. Personally, I find such a descriptor simply useful, but don't put too much stock in it.

Not all of us are completely minimalist. Although we don't like commercialism and Don't need to have what the Jones have, we do love what we love and when we find something that we can really sink ourselves into that brings us peace we sometimes will have several or many of whatever that item is. To some it is books, to others it could be fishing poles. For me it is cars. When we spend time on what we love it is our alone time, our recharge time, our deep-thinking time. I work on my cars for hours if not days completely alone and I love it and it is relaxing for me. As with everything about being a Sigma Male not all of us fit into the complete box that most of these types of videos put us in. I agree with many of the points of these videos but not all.

Watch TV? I haven't had a TV in my room for over 15 years. Why would I, if I have an internet connection and a monitor? The only two sports I enjoy are snooker and curling, and I don't really follow either - but I have enjoyed watching them when I was younger.
I have now seen the video and can make a judgement on it. I find it superbly well researched and far more accurate than most videos on the same topic. This video stands out.

To all fellow sigmas I want to say that with discipline, physical work and spiritualism you will find your true/real happiness and improvement in life. This habit/knowledge will unlock our ultimate potential, information what we have been looking for our whole life, the missing link. 🙏

And to then offer advice based on the fact that you are offering it to people who you think are all the same, and the same as you, is another mistake. I just think that "fellow sigmas" are openminded and they are more open to not so common beliefes and are not afraid to dig deeper. Then they can all make their own decision/conclusion what to do with that information. But from my experience when we find our inner god from ourselves we truly transform to better no matter the outside conditions of human life.

At a very young age I felt I was special because of the large amount of unsolicited attention. I have many memories of instances that, looking back, were signs of Sigma. I have, all my life, questioned myself of this ability. It took a long time before I stopped wondering if these instances mere coincidence. My confidence went next level when I stopped questioning it, and accepted it, but always wary. Hearing this has solidified my confidence. It's going to take some focus and concentration to keep calm about this.

Or it's a clever way to try and curb the male suicide rate with a voice that describes that it's ok to feel like something unique and the possibility of self improvement based on the belief they are just being a normal for their personality type. It's more of a telling sign of how bad things are since so many men latch onto this perspective and the immense desire for this view point to be real. Many men are rudderless and have no drive toward any goal other then self deletion. Yes I agree this is more like a fake psychological op yet sadly it seems a very needed one.
