I have that aiyima woofer like that, doesn't has any air holes on the magnet shield, it makes some distortion sound , but the woofers weren't distortion,especially for deep bass, but when i switched to aiyima 20 watt woofer that have air holes, it sounds just good and doesn't has any distortion at all, i'm using it until now.
As far as I know a bandpass is basically a 4th order, which would mean a ported and a sealed chamber. The front of this speaker is open though so it technically isnt a bandpass, could easily be made into one though. But his full range sound would get muddy.

@@cybernaab I wouldn't expect a lot of a speaker that was most likely build without calculating anything. There are drivers that can produce a lot of bass for their size but you would need to make an adequate enclosure. But at least it looks cool

One thing I've always wounderd ....with how much a box amplifys and changes the sound ...is it almost that the air moving from the back of the speeker is doing more sound production then the frount
I built a tool box 12v power supply and have a JBL Flip4 with a dead battery I wanted to dismantle and rebuild into the power box. the bass radiator is ok, is actually bigger than the speakers (3 times bigger is the rule), so it can handle it perfectly; obviously, if the build had a bigger bass radiator it would've sounded better

@@edilsonjaramillo8754 a mi ver pues son los 2 speakers aiyima (esos son como de 15w cada uno creo), un modulo pam8403 con bluetooth, un modulo step up dc dc para subir los 3.7v de la bateria a 5v (que es el voltaje ideal del pam8403) y una bateria de litio recargable de 3.7v. ojala te sirva para hacer tu proyecto

I like it but you should have a crossover circuit to eliminate highs and mids to produce only bass then add tweeters on a sperate amp.
