- Watch scientists uncover what might be the first dinosaur fossil ever found from the day the dinosaurs died.
"Dinosaur Apocalypse," a two-hour NOVA special, premieres on WED MAY 11 at 9/8c on PBS. Watch it online here: to.pbs.org/3EtpE9g - Наука та технологія

We have to wait 5 whole days for this!!!
I'm just gonna have to do it the old fashion way, drink NyQuil for 5 days and wake up when it's on.
Goodnight, everyone! I'll be sleeping with the dinosaurs if anyone asks.
Wow. Ok that’s pretty amazing. I enjoy this postgraduate guy he’s very enthusiastic about his work and I can really appreciate that
I need more !!
There is an article today about this in the Washington Post.
I like this guy, he already had one special dealing with climate change to a hothouse world.
These events are not equivalent, while the impact did produce extreme localized through the Central American continent, the bulk of the resultant climate change throughout the world was actually an impact winter which rapidly blocked out the sun and likely cooled the planet to some degree. This impact winter halted photosynthesis and killed off all large tetrapods with the exception of turtles and crocodilians.
It's pocket watch stopped at exactly 11;32 A.M. 200,121 B.C.
How exciting!!
Come on, NOVA. Don't use cards! They obscure the video you're posting.
Its last day was wet and muddy.
DAVID ATTENBOROUGH!!?????
To. Completely comprehend all the factors involved in the extinction it requires the work of multiple specialties. Thermo nuclear volumes, vulcanology, tsunami, geologic tectonic, atmospheric meteorological, along with. Paleontology. Climatology, botany etc.
The thermo nuclear volumes regarding what would be in the giga- Terra ton ranges. The kinetic energy transfer affecting the tectonic ( earthquake) and volcanic activity. Tsunami in the mega range of kilometers in height this can be confirmed as in NOVA, “ the Day the Dinosaurs Died” where cores were taken from the Chixilub crater and mantle material was found. The kinetic impCt affecting the mantle, would affect the molten core of the planet and the layers of magma above the mantle.
Explosions of this sort, resound all over the planet in the infra sound ranges. As evidenced by the atmospheric meteor burst above Chelyabinsk, which resounded around the planet nine times without having an actual impact. Plus the atmospheric pressure changes due to such explosions. Such atmospheric changes are proportionate to the size of the explosion. As jn Chelyabinsk the atmospheric pressure change caused the damages and injuries. While a Tsunami would take hours to travel, the atmospheric pressure would only take minutes especially with the temperature changes from the blast. Such changes would be felt as winds in the high hundreds of kilometers per hour. We consider a tornado to pack winds in the 2-300 MPH in a F5 event. We must multiply that by a factor of at least ten. Bringing such heat that it would be a firestorm tornado of a F10+ range. Emanating in all directions.
As with the experience of Mt St Helens , the only survivors that began re- populating the blast area were moles living underground and being able to eat plant roots. The same would have occurred for mammals and lizards that can burrow or exist within heavily swamp like and sedimentary delta environments.
✨💯✨
Fossilization must occur Rapidly in order for Preservation of the
organism requiring very highly specialized condition such as the
flood and RMD cannot accurately date new rocks or even render
a close approximation of their inception

Ketchup?
These guys just make me think SNAKE OIL!
Scientists have more evidence and a better understanding of evolution than they do of gravity. There is probably more evidence showing evolution is true than just about any other theory.
@@witherbossbros1157 their findings were released as they were still digging, their findings made it to media before a peer reviewed journal entry was made, their findings seem very rehearsed.
Well it is a TV show I'm sure they have to rehearse a
bit of it
@@1977jelliott The show is quite clear by using the word "could":
"Sir David Attenborough guides us on a search for clues that could provide an unprecedented snapshot of what happened on the unluckiest day for life on Earth."
@@unseen4047 Everything is just one big conspiracy, huh? Thousands of scientists working in the open, publishing results, sometimes disagreeing with each other...but for you, science is a conspiracy. Sad.
Ues got no idear bout da dinos as for 60 million year ago u r wrong olits all a lie
Noah’s flood.
