I stayed at St Davids Hotel with my parents way back in 1969 in a room in the rear block, i remember so much about it. Watching this video i hold tears back as it brings back memories in a sad kinda way, i find the video and the music relate very well giving an eery feel to the whole film, a good piece of work. I guess it was money to a certain extent and lack of custom as is the case with so many businesses closing nowadays. Such a shame......its' times like this I would love to go back in time......knowing what I know now with a camera. Cheers for the upload.

I was at Coleg Harlech in 1962/3. What a wonderful part of the world it was. The Coleg was great and trips up to the St. davids Hotel stick in my memory. I especially remember one evening before Christmas up there when there was some beautiful singing.
What a tragedy for both wonderful old places.

I came across the video because I was hoping to make a return visit. Unbelievable! This really is so so sad. We had a great family holiday there. The sunsets over the sea, viewed from the dining room.. while enjoying a wonderful dinner.... were stunning. Happy memories.

I lived in Harlech from 1999-2004. I can't believe this. So sad to see. So many good memories of parties, nights in the bar and the famous karaoke night in the lounge when my colleague was leaving. And let's not forget Indian Buffet night. Unbelievable.

Seeing the front room by the entrance with the grand piano and such stunning views reduced to a wreck is simply devastating. I remember sitting in there as a primary school kid on a school trip and we were all summoned there for interrogation because someone set the fire alarm off. It was a truly stunning place to be and seeing it like this makes you wonder why it allowed to get into such a state.

Great times there as a kid in the 70s and 80s with my sis and cousins. The location is stunning and the gardens were gorgeous. Tea and cakes by the pool, dressing for dinner, silver service - the works! Sorry to see it now but good memories.

So sad, have driven past this place so many times just thinking how gorgeous it could be if someone had the money to do it, it makes me so angry when you get thugs and vandals smashing things up just for the hell of it.. Very sad to see how wrecked it is from inside, as when you drive past it doesnt look it.. Another soon to be victim of the mad power hungry luxury flat development that noone can afford to buy anyway companies

Such a shame that people think it's cool and fun to destroy so much - this could have contained so many amazing projects and benefitted so many local people - especially the area as there's a big need for interesting space for local artists (although the people who did this thought they were being artistic, probably).
