@@nateyp16 that’s exactly how it happened with my mom. She died on a Friday and I spent Mother’s Day making a picture collage for her funeral. No matter what I try and do and think, Mother’s Day weekend is still so painful. Biggest hugs to you. 🖤

15 years of listening to Prof and I never get tired of him. Beautiful.
My grandfather passed away last year. He was a man of few words, but I still remember all the times I would help him work on his old Chevy or watch him make stained glass portraits for my grandmother. I hope he knows how special he was to me. How his knowledge and his soft spoken nature taught me to think before I acted. I used to be sad that we never really spoke often, but as time has gone on, I realize now he was always telling me something. He just didn't use words. The last thing I said to him is that I love him as I fought tears back, wondering if it would be the last time. I'm just happy that he knew, in his own way, that he meant the world to me.
He already had me teared up at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC this past weekend.
