I am a Chevy guy the Exorcist would not fair well in the 1/4 mile it is a modified ZL1 a track car, the Demon is a set up for Drag that is what it is made for if they went to the track the Exorcist would eat the Demon alive. From what i read the Exorcist dont have a trans brake like the Demon for drag racing Demon= 1 trick pony. I would love to drive an Exorcist sound's sooooo sweet!!!!

I'm sorry but if I had the money to buy a new zl1 and send it to Hennessey for the exorcist I wouldn't that's way to much money for what your getting. I would just start out with a 1le SS throw some good rods and pistons & rings (forged and lighter than stock) in it re-use the factory Lt1crank,King bearings, good oil pump, use Arp bolts and studs,custom turbo cam from LJMS, have the stock heads cnc ported, good lightweight titanium valves and really good springs and retainers, Cometic head gaskets, use prochargers bad ass intake re-use factory TB, And finally the best part a custom fabbed single turbo kit made with the best materials and parts a PTE promod 88mm turbo and a awesome split down pipe that exits the front bumper low infront of the tires or out the fenders even with the wheel wells polished tear drop cut 3 1/2 inch pipes, a super nice air to water intercooler, Co2 for the waste gates etc, swap a built 4L80e with a trans brake in it billet PTC converter drive shaft shop drive shaft and axles a gear change possibly a locker and parts needed to make the rear end live, a few suspension mods and chassis mods,15 inch rear wheel conversion and a Holley dominator ECU for motor and trans, keep the heater and a/C (I can live without the a/c) full interior with custom 10 point cage some nice race seats and belts. I'm leaving out some stuff but all this would equal a 1000-1500hp street/strip car that you could actually drive and run 8's in the 1/4 and 5's in the 1/8 that's my dream camaro dark silver paint cowl hood dark window tint and 17x3.5 and 15x10 double beadlock RC COMP wheels . It probably wouldn't handle great but I would put money on it that a Hell Cat would handle alot worse but I'm a drag racer so handling ain't important,Hooking hard and goin straight is. That may not be every body's cup of tea but I would bet if I had a shop where I could build mild to wild packages like this for camaro's,ctsv's,vettes and possibly mustang's lol I think I would be busy and making some cash

So is Hennessey back on good terms? I mean are they now trust worthy to use the parts they say and dilver cars? I was thinking about buying a 2015 z/28 that had the hennessey package. But i was not sure if it would he a good buy. Since i read about the cheap parts and what not. Being used in coustomer cars ect. Im not looking for a lemon. Do they have good status now anyone?
