I grew up in Massachusetts and bar pizzas which are the ten inch pizzas are legendary in many Mass. towns and small cities. There are so many places that David missed on this trip that could easily be rated very high. I have had bar pizzas from Lindos, Town Spa, Cape Cod Cafe, Hospital Spa(Boston), Central Cafe and Hideaway(Middleboro), and many other "House of pizza cafes" south and southeastern Mass. My all-time favorite is still where my little brother lives in Brockton Massachusetts is Home Cafe on North Main Street which serves a burnt edge Pizza which is out of this world whether you get it as a cheese pizza or with toppings. A shame that David did not stop at this place he would have been impressed with the quality of the pizza.

I can see where a non military guy wouldn't know the difference.... But an Amvets Post and a VFW post are different. I'm not insulted by any means but try to keep them what they are. As a Lifetime Amvets member and former Vice commander, it kinda means something to us. Keep up the good job! Enjoy your shows!
Dave, that's an Amvets post not a VFW. You do have to be a Veteran to join, but not a Vet of a Foreign War. FYI, it's also a Sons Of Amvets.. If you are a Son, Grandson, Adopted Son, Stepson, Father, Grandfather, Husband, Brother and Widowers of a Veteran, you can join the Son's and visit any Amvets Post in the US. Support your local veteran's and their posts. Ladies, you can also join the auxiliary which also gives you access aw well. The Sons mission is to improve the quality of life for American Veterans, their families and the communities they live in. Our Son's Posts have affordable, cold beer, most have food and all are filled with great Patriots. Join us!!
Dave talking about "old school bar pie"... My mom use to doc Jack's frozen pizza back in Chicago. Nothing but praise, nobody ever questioned it at her bar.. It was cooked in a good oven, and doctored well.
I'm still a VENUS in Whitman fan.....although I moved too far away to enjoy it now. Great family, great pie....I grew up with them....and next time back home...I will travel MILES to sit at their bar and have a great Pizza. And...take one to go to share. Back in the 80's....Hanover House of Pizza was the BEST....until they sold the business. But, was extatic when you reviewed Venus.....they are by far top 5 for the south shore.
Serious question from a pizza fan (west coast) but obviously far from a pro when it comes to range of pizza knowledge! Why are most if not all pizza reviews done with meatless pizzas? I have yet to visit the east coast in particular N.Y., but I am looking forward to it.
Regina’s in the North End is my favorite pizza ever but the Red Wing in Walpole MA has a pizza vert with trying if you are in that area. Why not do a Route 1 Pizza Review
Dave loves his Bie Par, everyone knows the rules.
Would you say that Dave is Bie-curious!
😂😂
LMAO, yes! I had to keep rewinding to confirm that's what I heard, too! OMG 😂
I wasn’t going to rewind but I thought I heard bie par lol
The comment I came to find😂
Bye Par is definitely my favorite kind of pizza.
😂😂😂
I was wondering if I was having the stroke or him.
Whatever that is just make sure you brush teeth after
Yeah I was gonna leave that comment, but you got it covered. 😂
@@biggin2155 Pronounced as bay. You're just having a stroke. Take some ibuprofen.
Dave should go back to the worst rated places and see if his score motivated them to get better.
Great idea, but I doubt any place changed their recipe. Maybe though.
He tried that, gave them a worse score (Dragon Pizza) ... lol he HATED that guy
How to get poisoned 101. I agree.
@@codmedic5982 Huh? He never went back to Dragon.
Goodfellas “You guys got permission to shoot on my patio today?” Pizzeria.
Anyone else catch Dave saying, "Bie Par," instead of "Bar Pie?" @00:59 Lol!
That adderall hitting a little too hard
"Kids in that video, not my favorite" lmao

He liked Buddy's best despite the most annoying group of kids, that says a lot about how really really good that pizza was...
I’d find it weird, as a grown-ass man (which I am), being known and admired by (essentially) children.

"BIE PAR" 😂😂😂😂
Needs to check out Bryantville Pizza Kitchen in Pembroke/Bryantville. South Shore hidden gem

Got my attention! I'll be making plans to visit this place from El Paso just for the opportunity to try their Bie Par!
I've been to the post many times for beer and pizza, Randolph's is a great place to visit.
Id be mortified if those kids from yesterday were mine , they would do without computer for a year✅💯
The south shore bar pizza journey has been one hell of a ride! On to the next magical region, everybody knows the rules.🍕

West End Grille right next to the movies in Randolph has an AMAZING bar pizza
Dave just made the word “Army” sound funnier than I have ever heard it 🤣
Sounded Irish
Dave, if you find yourself near Carver MA, highly recommend you try Cornerstone. Pretty damn good bar pie!!
0:40, those little pigeon feet on Porkboy are so cute, but they have claws.
For some reason I couldn't stop laughing at the "Bie Par" not only switched the first letter but the 2 words around lol

As far as bar pie Homeplate in Taunton MA is one of my favorites. I got a lot of places to try on the list now lol.
You said "Buy Par" when you were trying to say "Bar Pie" lol
Are you going to pizza fest Las Vegas this year?
You do know, that if you watch every pizza review that you will be able to guess the score, incredibly, every time.
Yes I rated the pizza 7.6 before he did.. although it didn't look like a 7.6 but maybe he did it out of respect for the VFW? 🤔
"Bie Par" blooper at 00:59
Iff i moved to america with the name Hoey and everyone started calling me Hooey I'd change my name to Haughey.
Have you ever done Jays Flying Pizza in Bridgewater, guy makes pizza out of his garage. Amazing stuff.

The absolute best pizza I have ever had came from a little place in Fall River Massachusetts called Fall River House of Pizza.
He's really been giving these bie par's quite unreasonably high scores for what they look like
You didn’t hit Riviera in Bridgewater when you went to Flying J’s. You were 2 miles away! Right up Broad Street, 5 minutes tops!
