Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift - Sean's 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX (GTA Online Sultan RS)

- This a new series that I will be doing on my channel and will continue it for many many cars to come. For the 24th build I thought I would do Sean Boswell's 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. This car was a very sought after and requested car (or so I believe). To put you all straight, this is technically Han's car first but when Sean messes up the Mona Lisa car (aka the Silvia) he then gives him this car to learn to drift and to settle into his new "crew" I guess you would put it. In the end it gets totaled as they are drifting around the streets of Japan trying to evade and get away from Takashi and Morimoto (Spoiler: Morimoto totals his car first before the Evo gets taken out) After it gets wrecked it is never seen again.
Car Choice : 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
Driver: Sean Boswell
Purpose: To learn to drift, help Han with his tasks and beat DK aka Takashi
Outcome: Learns to drift, beast Morimoto, but sadly get's totaled before he could use it up against Takashi.

I can honestly say, this is the best re-creation of the car on youtube. So many are just wrong, glad I found this clip!
I appreciate the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed the video/build. I put a lot of time into builds and my videos. I do mess up and I can't fix a video when it is already out so I make any changes the top comment. I do this for those who want to build your dream cars or cars that you thoroughly enjoy 🙂. I know the sultan classic works better for the body style, but sadly it has no livery that works for it. With my builds I get really picky on certain things and try to build the best ones I can 🙂. Again I appreciate the feedback and all and I hope you find more that you enjoy 😄👍!

Even though this isn’t 100% a pure Evo the livery gives it a nice finish and it makes it make sense. Like yeah it’s a 2 door but the giant wing, the livery and red makes it all come together for what it represents which is cool. Still I wouldn’t mind if they added a proper Evo with closer liveries perhaps? Maybe add Brian’s livery the “blue power stripe” only this time also add the squares? There’s a lot of potential with a part 2 Tuners assuming that’s what we’ll be getting next.
That be cool and yes. If they added the blue power stripe to the sultan classic rs would be awesome.
I don't think they will do a second tuners dlc right away but I would love another one and they could update and or still use the LS car meet location for it.

I'd be happy with an evo VIII really. But I doubt they will sadly but you never know.

@@cvpiguy they never added a civic into game until last dlc until they we would use the Sultan rs, or sultan or sultan rs classic, etc...so guess we shall see. There are a bunch of cars I would love to see added really.

What happens if I don’t upgrade it because it’s a 4 door in real life will I not be able to put the same stuff if it’s stock
No it won't have certain bumpers and modifications because they are just Benny available mods. Like the interior and little things. You can still mod the car and I know it's a 4 door car, but if you don't upgrade it sadly you won't have many options at all. Another alternative is to use the Sultan Classic although it has less customization and no livery. One of the main reasons I chose this car and its customization options too and because rockstar built it in game using the Sultan RS to represent this car and Brians's evo from 2 fast 2 furious. Just forgot to add the pictures in to this one as well as the 2 rx'7 and this one sadly my mistake, missed information and opportunity lol. Hope this helps 🙂, you can always build it how you want I get people that argue nonstop " this is the wrong car" I always say in my opinion it's the best car available online without nodding in a car like on pc that you can build, it won't ever be exact. It is Rockstar after all lol. Also apologies on the very long response just hard to explain in few details all I wanted to 😅.
Dang so I can’t do Brian’s or Sean’s evo as a 4 door car thx for letting me know and keep making all the fast and furious cars man
@@TitanXBowls you can but again if you want the most customization then use the RS not a 4 door but so much customization. Thanks and I will builds will be returning here this week 🙂.

You gotta upgrade the sultan. It then gets more options to customize.

@@Shaney850 it looks relatively good just like the Sultan RS but...it's front wheel drive and doesn't drift lol. It's weird cause the livery is the best for it lol.

Yes unfortunately either you take it and you use your imagination sometimes or you don't make the car or the build at all. Gotta take the good with the bad. They may give the car but not the livery or parts and vise versa.

This film (tokyo drift) is in 2006... evo 8 is the car that release in 2005 - 2006... how come u said that this is evo 9 which is just release in 2007 - 2008 (1 or 2 years after the film) ??? ... So the film is made with the car still produce in the factory.. come on from the front grill and bumper this is definitly not evo 9 but evo 8. Evo 9 does not have a triangle to attach their logo..
@@darkknight-re6px because Mitsubishi supplied the brand new evo IX that were released in 2006 when the movie was released in 2005 the VIII was released. You can look it up anywhere. I got my source from the guy who put the cars and was in charge of the cars in the films Craig Lieberman. If anyone knows what it is it is him. You can think it's an VIII all you want. I am going to stick with IX and the facts to back it up. I make mistakes I'm far from perfect. Sorry.
@@VoltageDesigns The reason why he thinks it’s an Evo 8 is because of the APR body kit facelift and the front bumper and grill. Because APR at the time didn’t have the kit ready for the Evo 9 they just used the Evo 8 kit on the Evo 9s which is the reason why everyone gets confused. Plus the Evo 9s came with MIVEC and as seen in behind the scenes the Evos in Tokyo Drift came with MIVEC on the motor so yeah case dismissed. And like you said Craig conformed all of this in his videos.

@@gumby7387 how so? It has the livery that is close. A somewhat close look to it and about the best car you could use for it customization wise. I know the sultan rs classic would be better but it's customization isn't good for that build and it dont have the livery either.

@@gumby7387 its more than just the doors you gotta look at though. I am not the only one who thinks it works the best for the majority of evo builds. Any other cars may have 4 doors sure, but it won't have the customization and/or livery. I appreciate the feedback though bro but I still think it is best for the build.
