I like how boyfriend and girlfriend have fought an entire military, a fucking bomb, a demon clown who doesn’t die, multiple psycho chicks in a school, SONIC.EXE, the entirety of Among Us, and a world ending corruption, but the only mods where they truly lose are Mario’s Madness V2 and DDTO: Bad Ending. It astonishes me, but it makes sense.
The way bf and gf were so confident in the beginning thinking they were about to win and escape to go back home, and the fact that Ultra M shattered that confidence within a few minutes is just insane to me. Not to mention its a really good spin on how usually bf and gf have insane plot armor and never stay dead, like Powerdown/Demise and MANY many other songs/mods in general. Also the way Tanooki tips his hat and bows before melting into a pile of liquid just makes it all the better, this was truly a calculated attack that neither bf or gf could have ever been prepared for. Despite him trying his hard he still failed to save his girl, or even escape for that matter.
It truly is sad. This mod loves making BF cry lol. But that is still crazy, how usually they get away unharmed from basically everything. But for once, they had karma. It's sad how hard they tried, and how confident they were, but it never mattered in the end. Ultra M is a god. His world, his rules. And in his world, there are no happy endings. He is a god. i find it interesting how act 4 generally avoids mimicking the more comedic songs.... except for dictator, perhaps because that's the one where mario blows you up at the end
Those in act 4 are the evil characters, although with exceptions like BETA Luigi, Mr Sys or Turmoil because there are no longer these types of characters, or ones that you can take seriously. And technically SH Mario is not a comedy character, he's just strange, he's not like the trolling of Super Bad Mario or the violence of Racist Mario
The confidence in their eyes at the start, BF desperation after losing GF, Mario just toying with BF's hopes and feels letting him think he's close to scaping and getting the "Good ending" only to kill him right as he knows he has nothing left to lose I think this is the L BF and GF deserve after having endless armor plot in most fights they went into

Mario’s Madness V2 feels like the sheer level of insanity and epicness that Sonic.EXE V3 was SUPPOSED to be, before it was cancelled. Like, if these two stood side-by-side, with Sonic.EXE V3 being fully complete and not cancelled, they would be of equal quality. But I am very happy nothing went wrong with the MM V2 development, and that the mod actually came out, fully finished.

Ultra M may have "won" by killing him, but BF kept fighting and went out fighting. Even after everything he didn't break and feel despair, he felt anger. I still wish vs sonic.exe got the treatment this mod got and ended with an incredible finished product due to how close I hold him and the mod to my heart, but seeing this mod prosper was awesome. I was never really into the mario creepypasta line besides I Hate You and Secret Histories (not a creepypasta but part of the mod) but I’m happy at how well presented they were.
It is, kind of, Sonic Legacy/Rodent Rap is made by the creators of the original Vs. Sonic.EXE mod minus the fucked up director who got it cancelled in the first place. Oh and the new owner of Sonic.EXE himself.

Those in act 4 are the evil characters, although with exceptions like BETA Luigi, Mr Sys or Turmoil because there are no longer these types of characters, or ones that you can take seriously. And technically SH Mario is not a comedy character, he's just strange, he's not like the trolling of Super Bad Mario or the violence of Racist Mario

Mario’s Madness V2 feels like the sheer level of insanity and epicness that Sonic.EXE V3 was SUPPOSED to be, before it was cancelled.
Like, if these two stood side-by-side, with Sonic.EXE V3 being fully complete and not cancelled, they would be of equal quality.

I still wish vs sonic.exe got the treatment this mod got and ended with an incredible finished product due to how close I hold him and the mod to my heart, but seeing this mod prosper was awesome. I was never really into the mario creepypasta line besides I Hate You and Secret Histories (not a creepypasta but part of the mod) but I’m happy at how well presented they were.
It is, kind of, Sonic Legacy/Rodent Rap is made by the creators of the original Vs. Sonic.EXE mod minus the fucked up director who got it cancelled in the first place. Oh and the new owner of Sonic.EXE himself.
