I was there twice last year. once in august and once in early december. Early december was even better much to my surprise. European christmas is a spectacle. the inhabitants are quite fed up with crowds and it is understandable. I found it to be the most interesting city I have ever experienced. The dutch should be proud. its a remarkable urban experience unlike no other.
