Roy Acuff ~ The Precious Jewel (1962 stereo version)

Like so many other country artists, Roy would redo his biggest hits when he moved to another label. His original hits were on Columbia. He then moved from there to Capitol where he redid them. Then he moved again to Hickory Records and did the same thing. This is the first time, however, his biggest hits were recorded in stereo. These versions aren't as good as when he was in his prime, but they sure beat anything on "country" radio today!
