Despite the dog dying at only six years old, that story went in a much nicer direction than I expected. I thought it was going to be some freaky pet cloning story.
I mean there are literally now like 15 channels that just focus on reading fake posts from 4chan and Reddit that each have over 30k subs active right now, so….
The guy with the little artefact statuettes and the dagger definitely just wanted to write some kind of modern interactive Lovecraftian horror short story.
I'm really brutal when it comes to /x/ stories, 99.99% of the time I'm calling bullsh*t. I'm choosing to believe the dog story though. It's pretty good. It's got doggos, weed, a stuffed moose, reincarnation, it's wholesome. What more could you want. Great choice to wrap up a deep dive.

That Kekcroc box looks like a terrible, amateurish mockup. In 1993, they would have had professional designers putting those together, probably by hand as computer design was only just coming into prominence in the industry. It wouldn't have looked pixelated like that. Appreciate the warning about the animal abuse story. ❤
That last one, factual or not, has me clutching my dog and getting his fur all wet. We truly do not deserve them. Yes, I also skipped the animal abuse one
the last story is so sweet i truly do hope stuff like that is real (also don't allow ur pets to get into ur weed (any drug really) because thc is toxic to them)
The "dagger" in the relics collection is without a doubt a type of ritual knife but not mesoamerican (granted the resemblance is extremely suggestive) but a Tibetan "phurba" which was a tantric item as the skull caps are. My source: i own an identical phurba and in fact I have not seen one like it anywhere else before this video. I purchased it from a merchant who was based in Hawaii and traveled regularly to India where he obtained Tibetan relics and such directly from the refugee population of monks hiding from communist China there. He had accidentally put a pricetag on it for 150 USD and had a moment of despair when I brought it to the counter but sold it for that price, I'm assuming it was worth a bit more from the look on his face. Anyway as a student of Hindu and Buddhist religion I can confirm that this is the origin of the item, the shop was a veritable treasure trove of expensive and authentic Tibetan religious items which had been obtained ethically and with complete transparency from what I discerned.
Thank you for this info! I study Mesoamerican archaeology so i knew immediately that none of the artifacts were from there, but it's cool to find out where they're actually from

Thank you so much for including the warnings about animal cruelty, gore, and drug abuse - you are amazing and I appreciate it so much. You always do an amazing job on your videos and your content is always intriguing and very well-done. Please keep up the good work!
awesome video love this channel. your vids have a weird atmosphere to them that i can't find anywhere else but it's honestly my fav. plus the topics you bring up are always really unique or not talked about. i find it nice to listen to interesting paranormal/odd spiritual stuff as well so i'm happy you also include those too..!!
G dam I love the music in your videos!! Gives me instant nostalgia, reminds me of shows like Tales from the dark side, twilight zone etc. Much love from NC
Dude, I'm telling you right now if someone approached me with some specific memory of something that happened to, like, my childhood cat or something, I would break down crying in the supermarket.
Great video as always. Glad to see maverick files in this video. That story about the dog actually seems genuine to me. I feel like I have a knack for calling out BS reddit tier fake stories but something about the dog story really resonated with me.
I love this channel and your work. Congrats! But also, does someone has a link to the dog thread? I want to read it. It's by far the most amazing post I've seen on /x/
Thanks for the animal abuse warning. That was very classy of you. It’s one thing I can’t handle as an animal lover and really appreciate that. Most channels do not do that.
Man that dog story has to be fake. I'd immediately ensure contact in a situation like this, and I think most people would. Like contact with that woman would become my absolute first priority in life. The moose thing was too specific to be a possible coincidence.
about the post with the dude finding things in the abandoned house: please never actually take anything from an abandoned area, even if its cool. I used to be really into urban exploration and stuff like that and the general rule is to look, not touch, and to take and leave nothing. I can't even fathom taking something from a SEALED box, let alone something laid out in plain sight. that's just bad juju right there
I've had some insane urban exploration experiences myself, one in a long long closed abattoir and can absolutely affirm, look, listen but never ever touch let alone take with you. Old buildings have memories and stories to tell, many of them not so pleasant.
8:50 The "Mesoamerican sacrificial dagger" looks, to me, given the kapala [Buddhist skull bowl used for rituals], is a phurba. It's a three sided knife, spike or peg used in rituals for a variety of things; exorcism, weather manipulation, meditation, and blessings.
When it comes to the title, yeah it's ridiculous. But the Lego Galidor line also had the Kek Powerizer, so it's not impossible, not that it helps Kekcroc. (We can dream though)
14:53 This implies that reincarnation exists and that, theoretically, the Christian God doesn't exist nor heaven or an afterlife.... I mean, this story could very well be fake and probably is to one extent, or the another but lets play around with the fun (possibly existential dread inducing?) concept of this completely being true as the original poster sees it. Interesting.
Can tell you that third one, the knife is the one that most obviously screams "prop" to me, because it appears to be purposely blunt, not worn from age, and the texture looks not-stone-like. I'm no archaeologist, but none of them look old to me, but rather they look like they were made to look old.
I have seen many of the mesoamerican artifacts in museums in Mexico, they're not very rare. All of the daggers I've seen are obsidian or flint tho, none made out of that material. I would guess thats probably not a real one
always a pleasure lads 🙏
Such a legend with such a great voice, very happy to be seeing you almost anywhere I look!
love your content
yo its sextime
MY BROTHER IN CHRIST I ONLY CLICKED THIS BECAUSE I SAW YOUR NAME
Man I fucking love maverick files and t6
Nothing tickles me pink more than spooky or lost media youtubers not realizing Kekcroc is 100% just a shitpost.
I wish it was real haha
Kek 😂
Its because there autistic
it's literally got kek right in the title, for crying out loud.
I don’t know a single lost media community member who takes this seriously. And I’m pretty up to date in that community.
Despite the dog dying at only six years old, that story went in a much nicer direction than I expected. I thought it was going to be some freaky pet cloning story.
This is by far one of my favorite series on all of UA-cam. It's harder to find new deep dive style videos that don't have the same repeated topics.
I mean there are literally now like 15 channels that just focus on reading fake posts from 4chan and Reddit that each have over 30k subs active right now, so….
Also. These aren’t deep dives. They are literally reading posts and adding about 2 mins of commentary to them. How deep is deep to you?
Did I say 2 min? I meant 1 min.
frrrrr
@@AttorneyGeneralGregStumbochill it’s not that deep 😭💀
The guy with the little artefact statuettes and the dagger definitely just wanted to write some kind of modern interactive Lovecraftian horror short story.
For the dog story, who remembers the exact dates of a time you house sat for your friend 20 years ago
He could've just remembered weed day was at the end of it then looked at a calendar.
Who remembers a date of some random time you smoked weed with your buddies
If you remember it was a weekend in a specific month you can just look at an old calendar
Wasn't their friend, it was their dad.
Over explanation is a sign of lying
The editing and the quality of these videos are so good. Im genuinely impressed because i love this typebof content.
Thank you so much 💛
kekcroc was made by nicholas fedorov who was known for his surreal 80s-90s styled cgi animations. i knew him for a little while actually

I like the dog story except for the specifics on its genetics. It seems out of place to know that and then remember it 20 years later, which threw me.
@@zarleewoodland Yeah, it takes a quantity of suspension of disbelief. Like I said, it was a choice.
