Train horns I personally don't think that's a great idea it might scare him. But you do you I guess. Everything else is fine.

Electric gokart with a engine sound module. They make plenty off stuff for rc trucks and I think you can put the little speaker wires into an amp with speaker input for much better sound with a proper car stereo speakers. With the benefit of volume control.
I would definitely put a diesel in it.
It needs to look like a mini Blue Collar. Instead of changing the rearend you can do an electric hydraulic pump. It may not be as fast as you want but a easy swap

Hey Bruce that is a really cool looking mini Cabover it would be awesome if you made go by batteries from a golf buggy and it would look even cooler if you made a mini trailer for it.
I would love to come see you cabover go-cart and get sum pitchers. I have always wanted a cabover and I'm going to get one soon to show and pull my caterpillar collection around.

I think you should convert it to electric. That’s a great idea it’s quiet and you can make it faster and a lot easier to control. I think you should choose one of your favorite Cabover is that you had that you like the most and build a mini version for your son.

Hi Bruce worked on a lot of golf carts electric and gas it’s your choice but I would keep it simple if you plan on Gunner driving it yes I to have a lot of rc trucks and boats making with remote control that parts not hard I would leave it propane just get rid of the 20 lb bottle and hide the small camping bottles in one of the side saddle tanks it would look cleaner nicer and painting colour I would make it like mini blue collar that would make it awesome and one of a kind take care stay safe G.Whyte P.s fart power will not work

If and when you do put the electric motor in there you should make a flat bed trailer so he can haul stuff around on it and put a actual CB radio in it.
SWFL Golf carts could help you out with what you need for lithium conversion. I think electric definitely the way to go.

awesome rig, you may as well go all out Bruce, a total do over with paint job including trailer and all. Get a sign painter to do logos and put gunner's name on it.
You should leave it red and put a diesel engine on and also hook up the tailpipes to the engine

A small diesel in this thing is a must, then pipe it though the stacks. Amazon sells some little 4 stroke 3-4hp ones.
You should switch it to diesel and make active stacks and turn it up to roll coal and paint it blue like blue color
Build a trailer for it and put the lithium batteries in the trailer. You could then have 2 trailers, one always on charge to hook up and plug in when the others flat 🤙🏻and solar panels flat along the trailer roof so it free charges when your cruising around in it
Replace that floating axle with a golf cart rear end Then you will have the option of Gas power or electric. Basically whichever we're and you are not using to drive will be a neutral.
