I'll be working on a Aftershocks video since it plays a big role in the story of the axeman.
Also, turns out TWD chapter 2 is only releasing on Quest. I refuse to try and stream quest exclusive games, it's more headache than it's worth. So no stream until the full game releases 😔
The Steam version is coming out on February, PSVR in March

The actor for Casey did such a good job. When you flood the comms room they way he screams and calls you a fucking psycho is so well done, sad he wasn’t in the second game, I kinda wished he teamed up with you or something.
Fun Fact: Ben Giroux, the voice actor of Casey, is the same voice actor as The Toddler from Henry Danger, and Big Nate from the new Big Nate show.

For the ending with Casey alive and May, you can stand between them and keep both alive. May will ring the bell and fall to her knees and Casey says something simillar to when you flood the comms but its about his PTSD of killing innocents

@@VirtualPandaVR I got this on my first playthrough cause I was trying to protect May from Casey and thought he would just shoot me, thinking the developers wouldn't believe players would do that but nope. I can't find any video with the ending but I swear
I tried my best to explain the story myself, but this does an infinitely better job of diving into some of the more key details, great job!
Side note: The Aftershocks DLC does establish quite a few things, such as how the Tourist somehow became enemies with both factions, and the axeman.
I forgot about those details... and I was running out of time making this video 😆

I’ve just played aftershocks but somehow I missed on how I became enemies with the reclaimed ( edit:) Nevermind I already remember hahha
i think the decision of which room to flood would be way easier if you didn’t have to hear casey cry for his life i think the devs made us learn so much about him so this very decision would be a much more difficult one

The end hits me hard every time, on all the endings. You see Casey drop to the floor crying because he either didn’t wanna kill may and did or because the bells were rung and you can see blood pouring through the door and barricades.
I slapped may as a joke and she rung the bells and it fucked me up immensely swing them both fall and the blood seeping in from the barricade

honestly the moment that may rings the bell was the most chilling moment. Especially when you hear the cries, gunshots, and horde’s groans and growls. Makes it even more chilling seeing the blood underneath. This game is soooooo good with giving you so many emotion

The first time I played I attempted to behead May but accidentally hit the rope, causing both May to die and everyone outside to die as well. I kept repeatedly saying no while Casey fell to the floor and blood flooded from beneath the doors.

As i built a friendship with Casey, i couldn'T just flood him, even if it meant that valuable loot would be gone forever.
I like how it's a choice of Morality, The life of a person over objects.
And then the free DLC let you get more supplies than there were in the reserve.

I made the mistake of saving Casey thinking he'd tag along with me so I wouldn't be alone. Never again.... felt good drowning him the 2nd run and taking his head as a trophy my 3rd run.

yeah, caseys head is always a win. in my biggest sinner run i cut off and displayed the heads of casey, may, ambre, georgia, j.b. and the girl from the shallows that asked me to end her husbands misery. def the most fun run by far
The thing is I was a sinner the whole game..but I just had a personal connection for Casey..what he DIDNT SHOW was all of the bonding moments when confess to you about his mom and his childhood and how he was a good guy... I made the choice to save him.. I love you Casey ❤️

factual, i made the choice to be a saint during the whole thing, mostly just because i wouldn’t be able to stand the guilt of doing something wrong or too immoral that would just make me regret it later

i had a weird thing with the tower and reclaimed because i immediately killed georgia and didnt ask jb for his help or kill him so i had both sides trying to kill me lol

I think you gotta do after shocks man because There’s gonna be this guy called the axeman he’s really important in retribution but I know that you were rushed on time because The quest version is coming out in a day so no pressure

When I first played the game I was a good person then when I got some safe codes and got the weapons and when I got the Night Shift that’s when it gone wrong I turned bad but Casey was my best friend so I saved him and killed May and chopped off mays head of (also JBs head and Ambre and Henris Walker version) but then Casey died from Reclaimed or Tower in Bywater so I blew the Tower up and got revenge for everything and when they robbed me I killed them all sneakily
Aftershocks ending has the axeman hint and the retribution hint too

I helped JB and killed all of the tower people, and as he was thanking me, a zombie just came up and killed him💀

as a player who has already finishedthe first game i am willing to watch a video explaining the full story
Here’s the thing I wanted to help JB so I gave him a warning but then me and him we went to kill Georgia and the other tower people then JB got shot as I killed Georgia and the rest of them making both sides hostile to me but that just made it more fun running around the church blasting their heads with the nova or sniping them with a sheriff if they were far so there is a chance that neither factions will help you
The dlc will probably have some significance to the story but not much because the bunker you go in at the end is the axe mans bunker and from what the games steam page says the axe man will be chasing us
I love SnS just never got back to it, I think I was a sinner since I keep killing guards and thinking I was just making it easier for myself I was technically a sinner, wish they kept that thing in the beta that showed you’re doing a bad thing.
Anyway once you’ve beaten the game there’s not much to go back too, they say the hordes get bigger but I barely think they do

I didn’t care much for people dying in this game. Just another Walking Dead game I thought. But hearing Casey in this video during his death it made me feel bad, horrible and upset. It felt a bit too real hearing it after going out of your way to help him.
In my playthough the reclaimed and tower are both hostile towards me. I don't know how this could have happened
Had the ending bug out where May rings the bells as you approach then Casey just slumps to the floor with no dialogue, the church knave bit of the quest is still active but I finished the game/Aftershocks. Then my Quest needed to be reset and I played through again only to have the same thing happen so nice to know what the actual ending was!

i didn’t read mays note about how i stepped into henry’s shoes and the whole time i thought that the coffin i has been putting the stuff into was this weird paranormal experience where the skeleton in the coffin was helping me
i’m glad he explained the flood in New Orleans before the apocalypse

you know what would be cool? if someone made an animation of what happens outside while the walkers descend on the church, i think it would be cool!
Fun fact: on the final mission of the base game the team that was supposed to be on my side (reclaimed) ended up killing me multiple times so I thought “oh I must have messes up so the tower is helping me”, no they killed me too
Then I thought “I’ll just kill them all” and I went on a rampage so brutal that I’m 99% sure I genuinely scared the people I was around who where watching me play
I playded this you know wen you go home after you go to the plave whith the blue hous if you go back there there are raders can you still get the microphone
What I would do is get the loot then play again since I have now the ar and shotgun blueprints that I can safe Casey’s

What’s the point of aftershock dlc?? You just listen to channel 47. I got the tactical flashlight and saw some interesting drawing ma at the resting place that lead to absolutely nothing…and that’s about it.

I tried to be nice the hole game but at the end I decided that JB and Georgia were causing too much harm so I set a time bomb on each of them and then waited
16:50 I liked that part of the game because I absolutely knew what I was going to do

being from louisiana i dont see a difference from reality and now. Death is pretty common there
There is a third ending if you let Casey and May live you can stand before May and then Casey won't shoot and ring the bells

Im i the only one who didnt encounter half of the npcs? I went through the whole game only interacting with the woman whos husband dies the gay guys may and jb. I had no one on my side for the war at the church.
Am I the only one that went full sinner and killed everyone at the end? I did it to see what happens and I don’t feel like it’s any different story wise besides everybody hating you
