I will add this comment as not only am I a beginner, left handed & don’t like musical instructions. I slowed this down to 25% and realized she started her 3 dc in the SECOND NOT THIRD stitch as is done normally. This made my rows not line up. Second, her unique stitch row also was in the next stitch from the hook NOT the one on the hook as I thought. I redid this 3 times before it came out wrong. It really helps to slow it down & zoom in. Whew! I think I have it now!
Same here! I am a beginner and this second stitch is making the pattern not aligned. I had to see the comments to be sure! As I have been replaying video for 100th time. Otherwise nice pattern for a beginner

I been working on this afghan, I don't know if it's me or what but I found that after the the 1st FSPC, all the rest were BSPC. Am I right or am I doing something wrong?
You can count them from the very beginning She has a total of 9 stitches + 1, so that’s 10 stitches from that you calculate how wide you want your blanket including the height you want it to be. It’s easy. Good luck
