If I reset the 1st switch in the stack, will that reset the config for all of them? Or do they all need to be reset individually? I will be inheriting a bunch of cisco catalyst 3850 switches in a new building, and we want to reuse what is already there.
You need to restore individuality. Go to config and do Del vlan.dat Write erase When you redeploy make sure you change the switch or slot number accordingly and the priority also
