I think the best designs complement the style of the house. The worst are those that don't repeat any elements of the house. For example 0:41 a brick and wood house that is all straight lines but with round white landscape borders and jagged boulders.The plantings are interesting but too much of a crazy quilt without height variation. The colors clash with the home. A simpler and more traditional planting is needed for the public face of a residence and with plants that are less exotic to the region.
