Yeah I’d never personally even purchase signed pops. I would only ever spend a few hundred on some grail pops or limited quantity pops. I’d never spend over a grand on any pop ever that’s crazy 😭

What bugs me is it isn't in a Hardstack, and it was handled without and displayed after being handled by human hands. If you are a serious collector and have a Signature, you auto put it in a protective case. Another thing I noticed was all Steve Aoki signed are all near top of the plastic, not near the corners
There's no COA of any sort either
She was probably just a paid actor so that Steve would be a guest on the show. He probably signed those on the spot and had her make up a story

It's a well known fact that Funko Pops (and several other collectables) can have a high price with an autograph, but 2000$?! Call me crazy, but I think that was pushing it. It was not out of the realm of possibilities, anything is possible, let's say she was very lucky to get 800$, and meeting Steve Aoki in person is the cherry on top!
It was dumb that the signature was on the shrink wrap of the cards. If someone ever opens them up they’d be practically worthless unless there’s a rare card in there

Feel like I’m being a fun sponge but suspecting it’s not a real deal, if they’re getting Akoi on the show they can’t really go “nah this isn’t worth anything” so they have to set up the situation where it sells for a good amount. Not to mention, imagine you were really like “my friend got this signed I think we can make some money on it please then they sat you right next to them!

I agree with you Tristan, this girl definitely got more money than they are worth. I can't image why he bought that for $800. His pops really are not that valuable and are not really in demand. I think Pawn Stars should have just done an eBay search or Mercari and they would have seen the value was very low. I wonder if this episode was really legitimate or just staged, because any pawn shop would do the due diligence before making an offer.

Pretty sure he gets them at Canadian Tire. Walmart sells the same shelving for like 40 bucks. They are 5 shelfs.
I can't remember if it was Tristan or maybe Skittle Rampage, not sure but one of the YTers told where they got these types of shelves recently... Walmart $36, just the Walmart cheap brand ones that come n a box, all different sizes, colors n such
Tristan are 100% Canadian tire shelves he did a video on them. They are not the same as the Walmart version as they fit alot less funko pops.
They are Sauder Beginnings Five shelf bookcase. I use the exact same ones. Amazon has them in 4 different colors.

Pawn Stars is fake! Aoki appeared on the show so it would have looked bad if Chumlee made a low offer. Most people watching PS aren't going to know much about Pops or what Steve Aoki's signature is worth. That over-inflated offer was scripted by the show's producers. Also, Chum probably wants to make Aoki's pop seem valuable so he can get in the VIP section at Aoki's next Vegas show! lol
