Saber - what to do when midlane refuses to sidelane/stays in midlane taking XP. In this case is it better to stay mid, sacrifice XP but be able to contribute to macro rotations or move to the sidelane to catch solo XP while sacrificing ability to be in TFs asap and contribute to macro movements
This! The amount of times this happens and then you end up falling behind and lose. I spam ping them and hope my sup does the same until they move.
I usually just ask once, if they say no, I say adc needs to farm mid after early game, if they say no I just go to an open lane and try my best. Not much to do if teammates don’t understand the game and flame you for doing the right thing.
I actually think its correct to sidelane more often than not in general
Most of the time it is safer to push further on side and i prioritize xp over anything. If your team fights without you you might even get a free tower for yourself
i will usually try to communicate that i cannot sidelane against a midlaner (especially if its a bursty mage) they understand then

26:00 is baron even possible? i understand that its a miracle to get tempo on baron in that game state and you should definitely do it if youre healthy, but feels like you just die to baron + random zed q? diana is 1hp too. as in, is the correctness of the play worth the difficulty of execution?

Saber, I play only Caitlyn and win about 70% of lane and head to mid average with 5 kills. I perma push mid after and play for objs, but neither my mid or top side push. It’s frustrating that I end up split pushing and get a tier 2 towers. I even get 3 to respond to me and yet no one does something on the opposite side of the map. Are these matches just a team diff?

Try to communicate, if you win lane, or if you are fed, WITHOUT being toxic, they will listen to your advice.
Hi saber big fan of this educational kind of content, it's really helpful for me as a marksman and mage player. I see why it's important to gather every available wave as adc like you say around 19:50, and it would also be my first instinct, but in this situation the Jinx's whole team is looking aggresively at the dragon, so isn't it a better playstyle to sack one or two waves to ensure the dragon take? The clip is kind of a bad example since Jinx's pathing took her away from the dragon fight by accident so she ended not being able to hit, but ya. Are there more variables in this particular scenario you could go into more detail with?
I guess my real question is when do you start prioritizing grouping and fighting over making sure you scale? Does it depend on the champ you're playing?
I think the point being made regardless of this example is that you push the mid wave for guaranteed gold, and you still show up to the dragon fight afterwards. I think this example is an extreme example that shows that you missed out on guaranteed pushing/gold income vs a coin flip of creating any influence at all at dragon pit. The bonus is that if you push out mid, you potentially cause a lower skilled enemy player to want to catch that wave pushing against mid, and now since you are rotating towards dragon, causing a favorable numbers advantage for your team. just my personal take on it
15:00 So what I would have done is gone side get krugs clean up 2 waves (Im not pushed in to where I have to be worried about a gank etc and than just pathed to mid.) I gained 400 plus gold in the process and I would have been at mid turret to help aram so that we dont lose our mid. Had he gone straight to mid yas might not have need to use tp and probably if he was good used tp to catch bot wave so ash doesnt take the turret for free but I WOULD NEVER play for my allie I would never think they would do a macro play like that There for I will all ways take the garuntee. So I really do not understand your reasoning in that go mid right away IN THAT moment. if you could explain THAT specific play for me id be greatly appreciated. Not to mention homi did the complete opposite of what i said (didnt take krugs pushed second wave and than continued to stay bot to then get in the problem that you where talking about in regards to getting ganked and losing mid etc
I would love to go mid as adc after first tower but i am bronze and the midlaners in bronze never go bot after you got mid and their adc will just push your towers withjout anyone taking care of it cause it is your lane in their head.
