The moments shown and explained in this video are from Chapters 142-147
Had a lot of fun making this video so I hope you enjoy it

I love the contrast between Rin and Sae.
As Rin said "The ideal soccer for Niisan is destroying beautifully".
Rin's soccer is Obliterating the opponents even if its the field they are best in.
Yeah ikrr
Destroying football beautifully
And Destroying it hideously
👌Done so well idk how anime will do these panels justice
What does destroying beautifully mean?
@@tjkiom9103 the way he dribbles , the way he moves is what we call beautiful and tactful football, where he finds a path which is easier to move, by calculation and vision.( Technically every player in blue lock is easy for him to dribble tho)
The way rin moves , is pure physical and destructive dribbling where he challenges the opponents, brings the most out of them , then destroys them through power speed etc and not exactly technique
@@tjkiom9103when I hear destroying beautifully I see similarities to Jhin in LoL having it be a show and art piece while Rin just wants to destroy for the sake of making them feel despair
Why Niisan? Why not Toyota? Where does this hate for Nisan come from?
Bro just imagine how the blue lock eleven felt during this. Everyone's just like
"Ayo, is he good?"
I think the Blue Lock Eleven are use to this craziness by now😭

@@brando3424 "The fuck he got his tounge out for?"
In my opinion, Isagi was the MVP of the match because he greatly contributed to every goal of Blue Lock and of course scored the final goal himself. Meanwhile, Rin made some questionable decisions in the first half because of his brother complex
100% correct, isagi was easily the mvp. He was the one who was constantly linking up with his teammates, he was always the one to initiate the offense, his off ball movement distracted the defense, he would constantly be in the right place at the right time when his teammates needed somewhere to go, he made crucial plays on defense, and of course he scored himself. It wasnt a fluke that Itoshi Sae recognized him as the heart of blue lock. TBH, if he was more polished individually, he probably would have scored even more.
if we're talking the game as a whole, shidou has an argument for mvp too. He scored twice afterall.
You mean MOTM (Man of the match)
He's a team player but ego himself said that rin was the reason blue lock won. Rin scored the second goal and rin was the reason the last goal was also scored
@@milindpius2005 what ego ACTUALLY said, was "rin's awakening broke everything apart, and the only one who responded to that was isagi yoichi".
The key to unlocking rin's potential on the field was isagi yoichi. Rin scored his 1 goal with the help of isagi playing decoy. And the last goal? Rin almost threw the game. Rin single handedly made the game into a chaotic mess when he went off the rails. Rin was only a part of the reason the last goal was scored, since isagi literally positioned himself so maybe he could make up for Rin's selfish 1-on-1 vs his brother. He ran to a spot where, if the ball happened to land there by luck, he would score and did. Rin's got a case, but I personally still give it to isagi 100%.
Agreed, Isagi played a huge role in all the goals. Itoshi See even called Isagi, the heart of Blue Lock. In the second half of the match especially the Blue Lock 11's attack revolved around him. He got the assist for Barou's goal and his own goal at the end to win the game.
when isagi showed him up he had started blasting that DOOM ost in his head and he then went to fold the U-20 team so hard that you thought it was paper Mario
😂😂
Rin almost fell for a generic "I'm not alone anymore" plot, but then he says "F- it! I'll do it myself!"
This is why I like Rin, not all people keeps promises that they wanted. This shows that no matter how hard you try, the path will still be the same. This arc had me on edge, as if I'm watching a actual football match
It always feels to me that Rin was copying Sae's style and that this "berserker" style is Rin's real way of playing soccer
That’s what happened in the beginning of the match Rin was copying Sae tryna one up him
Read rins novel and see how he used to play
idk if you missed this but the defenders didnt actually get in rin's way. he was going towards them(isagi mentions it) so he could crush them
U-20 is my favorite arc in sports anime. Great video, you deserve more subscribers.
Thanks😂, The U-20 is also my favourite arc in sports manga along side either the Challenger arc in Haikyuu but I’m still tryna get more into the genre 😅
@@DarkheroJosh Dude....Hajime no Ippo, Takamura vs Hawk, is an absurdly good piece of sports manga. You should check it out.
Gotta agree, Itoshi Rin was the MVP, and he's still highly valued as the true sports players know that. What the series does realistically in this part is makes Isagi's goal the moment the masses see and hype up. So even though at this point Isagi is weaker than Rin, that and his interview featuring "I will lead the U-20 to victory!" made him the star player everyone noticed. That's why he got the name "Blue Lock's Ace."
He's extremely fortunate to have discovered MetaVision shortly after, or I doubt he could have met public expectations in the NEL.
real shit bro
Rin and Isagi are both MVP and you can argue either one. Barou is 100% second in line though. Blue Lock wouldve lost if he wasnt subbed in.

I was really hoping rin would’ve made the final shot just to prove to his brother that he got better. But instead of scoring he proved he was better by completing destroying the u-20 team plus his brother so I’m satisfied with that
the way ego did the fist thing and his face is so cool.
this man so underrated it’s crazy

Rin's berserk mode was the highlight of the match to me. He went absolutely dummy. if there was no sae, rin would have soloed the japan team
Rin was on timing fr
ngl, the teammates shoulda been crowding rin and being happy about his steal rather than isagi and his goal
Blue lock is such a good anime and this is one of the reasons I feel in love with it these intense moments just make it 10x better
I really don’t see how rin wasn’t the mvp. Isagi states multiple times when he gets stops or anything like that he was only able to do it by watching rin, rin got the first goal, not to mention Isagi only scored cuz he bet that rin would get that final stop or they would lose. Point being Isagi could’ve been subbed out for any really good player and blue lock still could’ve won if rin got subbed out for any good player blue lock would’ve lost
FACTS!
Idk about that if isagi was subbed out then they wouldn’t have scored the final goal
@@eboy4216 isagi scored BECAUSE he believed rin would get that stop. If rin didn’t get the stop isagi already said they would’ve lost
@@CAPTHEGOATYT exactly so if another really good player was subbed in do you think they would’ve believed in rin and been in the exact same positioning isagi was in for the goal?
@@eboy4216 yes because what else could they have done lol if they didn’t believe in rin and went to help the game would’ve been over. Isagi choice was the only choice it wasn’t believing in rin that got them the win it was luck and positioning yes another player might not have been positioned themselves right but at the end of the day stopping sai was the most important factor that led to that goal
You know its every man for himself when there's only 6 OG characters in the big fights.
Wouldve actually have wanted to see rin's reaction if made the goal and seeing himself reborn. Wouldve been cool character development

Average Blue Lock game
Just got into this anime yesterday due to watching a recap, and damn it's FIRE. I'd even go as far as to say one of the GOATED. The thrill I get from watching this is insane haha.
I agree when I read the manga I was never bored
@@DarkheroJosh it wasnt boring fr, but the stretch between the end of the u20 matches and them joining clubs was so boring
@@aurum8110 it's the building of the next events bro
I'd honestly argue Rin was more of a liability throughout this match. Not only did he make some questionable decisions thoroughout this match thanks to his brother-complex his 'flow' honestly seemed more like a temper tantrum that Isagi and Sae outplayed him when his failed prediction nearly cost them the game.
yeah thats true, his plays was questionable in the late second half but the majority of the game he was a key player to the offense and even the defense
Reread it again then.Rin made the opporunity for nagi to score. He scored the second goal. Was great in defence and he was the main reason for the 4th goal.By far the mvp for blue lock
@@ΓιωργοςΚ-ρ6κ honestly you could argue the MVP could either be isagi or rin, but i agree in my opinion rin is the MVP, created several opportunities and was the sole reason why isagi even scored that last second goal
@@ΓιωργοςΚ-ρ6κ Rin was still a liability amd almost cost the game. Because of that Isagi has to be MVP
@@Fracturalhe was both the key player and the liability but rin still mvp
Imagine if U-20 with no shidou and Sae Rin would end the OG u-20 whole career

Yeah but he wouldn’t evolve like he did if those two weren’t in the team. Remember when ego said that you enter the flow state when the ability of the player and the challenge are increasing so…
Bro with the amount of hype you make with just Blue Lock alone, I’m convinced to watch more videos. (The use of Above was great too)

Imagine we get to see this animated and get a whole final boss theme playing in the background that would go hard 🔥🔥
Rin so far is my favorite character but, if he continues his hatred against Sae and Isagi then it will take him down a wrong path.
rin became my favourite character after this
W
Rin didn't destroy the team, he crushed and obliterated them
Not really since rin did the same thing to isagi on their last match where it was a loose ball and just like in this scenario it was a matter of luck on where the ball would land
It was basically isagi applying the lesson of "luck" that ego and rin where explaining after the 4 vs 4 match they had at blue lock
Damn, bro. You make the most coolest manga videos!
Thanks bro, I try
Rui was definitely the MVP in this match, but it’s starting to slowly show that isagi is a forced to be reckoned with, and might completely outshine Rin in the future.
Nah he won't completely outshine. In terms of raw skill Rin beats isagi easily. But when it comes to manipulation Isagi is better
isagi is the protagonist he will be the best lmao
@@shin29534 in skill probably no overall match manipulation he currently might be better tha Noah also.
@@shin29534 isagi has been below his competitors the whole series it's literally all he's been doin is devoring
rin is 100% talented when it comes to raw skill, but without isagi's control in the field, he would probably mess things up more than he could. just my opinion
unpopular opinion but my boi nikko deserves some love

You’re good on the spoiler warning, I’m here specifically because I can’t currently read the manga. 😂
You know, something I saw in the panel of rin's shot was that aiku barely touched the ball, making rin's shot deflect
Itoshi Rin should’ve been the one to win the game but ofc the main character Isagi Yoichi was the one to score. I’m not complaining that was hype
Really? Rin beat Isagi twice before this game and he score a goal in this game as well
I mean there was one moment in the second selection where Isagi surpassed Rin
Yea it would’ve shown Rin resolve if he scored again but Isagi scoring it felt sort of right
It's just like a mirror of how Rin won by taking Isagi's ball during Blue lock. Rin read where the ball would go and Isagi did the same here. Isagi has always been looking and copying what the people around him were doing.
he might have win the goal if he didn't go berserk and starts ignoring his teammate. tho it was really cool 😆

Who said isagi was the mvp should stop kissing MC ass
Rin was the reason for the first goal

But yeah let s say that Isagi is the MVP after a goal and nothing else
You hype the MC like sht even if he didn t realize ANYTHING noticeable
In blue lock he outplayed some but that s all
What Isagi did in Blue lock at the best players?Against the best from blue lock?I ll told you:1 goal against the best from blue lock in a few matches and 0 against the world s five and Rin scored once against the world s five and had 2,5 goals per match but yeah yeah..le t s blame Rin bcs of his character and lick Isagi s ass

@@DarkheroJosh So can't really complain there XD
I need some manga/manhwa recommendations
I can’t wait for the anime 🔥😎
To be honest , I'm not in favor of Itoshi Rin . He made several questionable and weird , unexpected decisions throughout the entire match and in the first half , he missed a golden opportunity to score a goal , he could've used his dominant right leg , but instead , he copied Sae and it hit the goal-post .
His "STATE OF FLOW" and "AWAKENING" , as mentioned by Ego himself , put the team's chances of winning on the line .
BTW , my favorite arc in the entire manga is , up till now , "NEO EGOIST LEAGUE" .
Isagi's development was crazy as hell .
true but yet again his kind of soccer is about crushing Sae and in a match like the U-20 one were he'd be able to do that and prove his skills to Sae, a world class player, etc. it makes sense on why he made the decisions he did
@@DarkheroJosh True , but it really put the team in danger .
Their future would've been destroyed , including himself .
Whatever , They WON!!
This was what I read those chaps for !!
Shidou never got Sae's number, he never scored a hat trick
Didn’t shidou say that he got the 3rd goal as sae failed to beat his brother, and then sae said to him to wait after he showered?
Isagi Dortmund is a statement by the Author cause Dortmund acquire/produce the best young talent then sell them on. They don't waste money. Pretty much saying that Isagi is a sure-fire world beater
Yup..Dortmund also really good at nurturing future world beater player...i already can see that author want Isagi vs Noa n Kaiser in Der Klassiker match😁
I would lean toward isagi being the mvp but the only choices are rin and isagi
great video
Thanks😂
I sometimes feel sad with this anime cuz Isagi can't overpower most of his opponents individually, I would like for him to be the strongest and most skilled in the END.
Ong as the mc it's just sad. The current manga isagi still can't win a 1v1 even though he's playing in world famous team
@@NxtFocus bro he was bedass during 2 nd slection crush shoei baro ego
@@Haryanvi_ydv lol and? Can he still do that? Nope. Unless he start remembering flashback blah blah blah. Overall he's suck, to me people who can't even do simple dribble or win a 1v1 aren't fit to be a main player, better put him as sub. Take itsohi brothers as example, they are the ideal striker who can do everything
@@NxtFocus brodie ego goes into perception, isagi can read the field, make use of his teammates weapons and exploit it to his advantage. Itoshi rin and Sae do it themselves cause they got a offensive based weapon and they have the physique to accomplish it. Yet Isagi is still the ace of blue lock. Soccer still isn't about a 1v1 its still an 11 v 11 no matter what individuality you impose. Ronaldo never scored all those goals or messi never scored all those goals in 1v1s. It was team matches. And Isagis best thing is adaptability, he is not made out to be the strongest from the start from your regular mangas and animes that you are so used to, this is not one punch man. He adapts to the strongest he sees, after adapting he beats them in their own game, figures out a new formula and constantly improves himself. You don't even know the point of this manga and you complain about it me personally I would just stop watching this stuff if i was that dumb
@@vmirado9537 Why compare a fiction person to real life people? He's not the only one who can "read the field". Adaptability? another weapon which can be obtain by other people. I haven't see him able to PASS 1 guy while countering, you call that a striker? All he can do is run to penalty box and wait for a pass to score, I wouldn't call that "a good player"
He's not the only one who improve himself. Simply said, isagi are not special. L Mc
