Of course injuries have derailed his rise to superstardom ever since this year, but in this 2016/17 season he played so well all year and then throughout the playoffs( I don’t want to bore you with all the records he broke, but let me say he’s the only player ever to avergae 27 points and 10+ assists across at least 10 games in a single postseason. Also broke a Jordan record and did something only lebron and jordan have done in a game 6 closeout) that even people who ignored him/hated on him such as Max and SAS and Cowherd and skip and etc, they were all calling him the 2nd best PLAYER in the East behind lebron, and Max and SAS debated if perhaps he was, strictly as a point guard, the best in the entire league. Prior to 2016/17, even though he didn’t get the love he deserved, he was still considered a top 5 point guard in the league by most consensus ever since 2013/14. He wasn’t just an all star, he didn’t just record stat lines year after year that were super rare or never seen before, but he led the wizards to their 3 best seasons since 1979 without a single all star on his roster during those years. Bradley Beal wasn’t close to all star level until 2016/17, and he didn’t make all star until 2017/18. Beal was actually frustrating fans in the years leading up to 2016/17 that a lot of wizards fans wanted to trade him( especially during the 2015/16 season) since they didn’t want to waste how Great Wall had already become. Beal was obviously awesome at times even before 16/17, and that seaosn he was so awesome and of course has been even better every year since. Sucks they never got a chance to play together once the had both solidified themselves as true stars. They closest they came was the 2017/18 playoffs, when wall was finally healthy after finally getting surgery in January to deal with an issue that had been holding him back since early November. Wall was fantastic all series averaging 26 points 11.5 assists 5 rebounds 2.3 steals and 2.3 blocks, and Beal, despite a 9 point game 2, REALLY came alive from game 3 through 6. Sadly, while Wall and Beal were enough to push the #1 Raptors to 6 games as an 8th seed, they were just so terribly out matched against the Raptors deep front court and deep bench and better coaching, they just couldn’t do anything about it.

My favorite Kentucky player ever!!! I remember when we first saw him in Lexington, he's the fastest man I've ever seen! He was too fast for his teammates to make plays with him! First pick in the draft, I would love to see eric Bledsoe go to Washington and reunite with John wall!

If this guy comes back just as healthy the wizards are gonna be a major threat to the league and a definite ECF contender Think about it next year... a more developed TBJ and Bryant who have been killing it this year, Beal who's had the experience of leading a team to winning and has majorly stepped up his game, and great players off the bench that we recently acquired like Jabari, Portis, Sato, Green, and Ariza
