Several years ago I met Dr. Missler at a conference in Denver. He was the most humble human being, despite his brilliance and esteemed background. He didn't talk down to me - what a wonderful human being; what an ambassador of the KING!
I too had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Missler in Dallas, Texas. I agree with everything you said about him. I have several of his books, and briefing tapes. I especially enjoy his Learn the Bible in 24 Hours tapes.
What an amazing intelligent being. My jaw dropped as I listen to his message. I love his preaching and the knowledge of history , and his personal life.
Chuck Missler solidified my faith years ago to become unassailable. Recently I've discovered Dr Michael Heiser's "Hidden Realms" which clarifies a few additional details. Heiser does not see all that Chuck unpacked, but does add some useful things.

Chuck Missler took the time to come and see me when Koinonia House set up there Portsmouth UK arm as i live in the UK. Which has to be around 45 years ago i am not good with dates and time. What he said to me ive always kept close to my heart and mind . Amazing depth of knowledge of the subjects he teaches on.Wonderfuly gifted by God to help enlighten and challenge us even as time has moved forward. I find Chucks teaching very absorbing and wonderfuly enlightening almost drawing me in to be amazed further Biblical wonders .

That's the Holy Spirit in him AND in YOU! The closer to God and to His word someone is... the more your ear and your heart will incline b/c the Holy Spirit is giving you that assurance that the scripture is being interpreted accurately by a man of God. So it will taste GOOD, like a fine meal!

Because this book holds you responsible for your walk with Jesus. Once you know the intricies of this book your held responsible for your salvation. Another thing is salvation is daily. But I think more are starting to on one level or another...to go through Rev. As I drive around town, I pass church signs saying something about Rev, or "is this the End" etc. so certainly there has been pressure on the pastor to teach it b/c o many people on-line looking for solid Biblical teaching in Rev. Well known personalities/political commentators who are Christian or have a Christian background make mention of it on their programs/podcasts. Everyone knows America is on the brink...so it's wise for a pastor or other teacher in a congregation to talk about Rev and end times.

You are absolutely correct in all you say. I haven't been well so have not been doing much research, but I will look again when I am able. God bless you and be with you in these dark days of deception. It's good to be reminded that God's Word is for all who seek Truth in honesty and humility. The Bible states quite clearly that man's wisdom is foolishness to God. I was a computer programmer and an accountant before becoming disabled so I tend to spend too much time in the details, although I derive great pleasure from doing so. The simplicity of the Gospel is what saves us, not knowing all the depth and hidden gems in the Bible. I pray God uses my interest in scholarly matters, though I am not an academic, for the edification of the Body of Christ.

Hermeneutical hygiene, Chuck would always say...let the scriptures interpret the scriptures. He was a solid teacher of the Word who left behind a huge body of work that Koinonia House now has available.

I love Chuck, am sad he isn’t still here to share his vast knowledge and wisdom with the church on earth, but that said, once he got dentures, it became more and more difficult to understand him, with all the slippage and extra saliva or what not, while teaching. I personally LOVE when people talk fast, especially when they have interesting or a lot of information to share. When he was younger though, for anyone who has trouble following him, he used to speak more clearly, voice wasn’t as weak and you didn’t have all the extra noises or muddied speech, sometimes trailed off and stammered, jumped around and abruptly switched to something else, but like myself, his mind is going at way too fast a speed for his mouth to keep up. As he got older, he’s slowed way down, but the dentures are the issue, weakening of the muscles used in vocalizing, and multiple sensory decline, hearing, sight. He has had more impact upon me than any other Christian teacher in my lifetime, and I’ve been around awhile, over six decades. He was instrumental in helping me develop a solid eschatological foundation, guidance in study techniques, appreciation of biblical prophecy. Ravi Zacharius has been my go to Christian apologist, after C.S. Lewis, when formulating how to best give an answer to unbelievers regarding various complex queries, like, the problem of pain and suffering, how can a loving God tell his chosen people to slaughter while cities, etc. (Chuck’s revival of the early church and rabbinical teachings, the traditional views and understanding of Genesis 6, has also helped me with these questions, as well.) God bless everyone who reads this and diligently seeks to grow in Christ and to mature to the meatier things from God’s Word, in order to bless and edify the body of Christ, and appeal to a lost world desperately searching for substance and meaning in an ever increasing apostate generation. Lord, send more harvesters and call your preachers and teachers forth in the absence of these great men who have left to their heavenly reward. Thank you for all these opportunities in our generation, to continue to benefit from great teachers like Chuck Missler, via technology, even after they’ve left us physically. Praise Jesus, Amen!!!
Chuck didn't see the ME Amos 8:11 supernatural changes to the KJV, however, he does have very insightful analysis of the book of Revelations (It was always plural, there are more than "one thing" being revealed in that book). 12 minutes into his presentation he's talking about "pennies" for a measure of wheat. Pennies didn't exist then, and Satan's head will be crushed, not "bruised" (another clever ME change), but that doesn't take away from his overall analysis. Daniel said that Satan would think to change times and laws and that has come to pass. But Chuck's message is sound. He had a good grasp of the overall picture. He might have erred in this or that particular, I don't know, but I feel confident in his overall message.
Dr Missler has been studying the KJV his entire life. He knows the words mistranslated, i would assume with his mass study that he would be able to observe these "changes" as he does mass translation comparison and attention to every word being of utmost importance to him. With his use of hebrew and greek, i am confident any " changes" would not be an issue. There are incorrect translations in the KJV, as he has pointed out. Revelation is a proper name. This is not limited to just 1 revelation. Pennies is a comparative word translation for our understanding. Shalom
um.....Rev 1:1 is written: "The Revelation (singular) of Jesus Christ..." It's just ONE revelation or revealing. The image revealed is of Christ despite it sounding like a bunch or things...it's all about Him!

Admire and appreciate, not idolize. His insights into scriptures have affected many people for the better.
I love Chuck, am sad he isn’t still here to share his vast knowledge and wisdom with the church on earth, but that said, once he got dentures, it became more and more difficult to understand him, with all the slippage and extra saliva or what not, while teaching.
I personally LOVE when people talk fast, especially when they have interesting or a lot of information to share. When he was younger though, for anyone who has trouble following him, he used to speak more clearly, voice wasn’t as weak and you didn’t have all the extra noises or muddied speech, sometimes trailed off and stammered, jumped around and abruptly switched to something else, but like myself, his mind is going at way too fast a speed for his mouth to keep up. As he got older, he’s slowed way down, but the dentures are the issue, weakening of the muscles used in vocalizing, and multiple sensory decline, hearing, sight.
He has had more impact upon me than any other Christian teacher in my lifetime, and I’ve been around awhile, over six decades. He was instrumental in helping me develop a solid eschatological foundation, guidance in study techniques, appreciation of biblical prophecy.
Ravi Zacharius has been my go to Christian apologist, after C.S. Lewis, when formulating how to best give an answer to unbelievers regarding various complex queries, like, the problem of pain and suffering, how can a loving God tell his chosen people to slaughter while cities, etc. (Chuck’s revival of the early church and rabbinical teachings, the traditional views and understanding of Genesis 6, has also helped me with these questions, as well.)
God bless everyone who reads this and diligently seeks to grow in Christ and to mature to the meatier things from God’s Word, in order to bless and edify the body of Christ, and appeal to a lost world desperately searching for substance and meaning in an ever increasing apostate generation.
Lord, send more harvesters and call your preachers and teachers forth in the absence of these great men who have left to their heavenly reward. Thank you for all these opportunities in our generation, to continue to benefit from great teachers like Chuck Missler, via technology, even after they’ve left us physically.

Chuck didn't see the ME Amos 8:11 supernatural changes to the KJV, however, he does have very insightful analysis of the book of Revelations (It was always plural, there are more than "one thing" being revealed in that book). 12 minutes into his presentation he's talking about "pennies" for a measure of wheat. Pennies didn't exist then, and Satan's head will be crushed, not "bruised" (another clever ME change), but that doesn't take away from his overall analysis. Daniel said that Satan would think to change times and laws and that has come to pass. But Chuck's message is sound. He had a good grasp of the overall picture. He might have erred in this or that particular, I don't know, but I feel confident in his overall message.
Dr Missler has been studying the KJV his entire life. He knows the words mistranslated, i would assume with his mass study that he would be able to observe these "changes" as he does mass translation comparison and attention to every word being of utmost importance to him. With his use of hebrew and greek, i am confident any " changes" would not be an issue. There are incorrect translations in the KJV, as he has pointed out.
Revelation is a proper name. This is not limited to just 1 revelation.
Pennies is a comparative word translation for our understanding.

um.....Rev 1:1 is written: "The Revelation (singular) of Jesus Christ..." It's just ONE revelation or revealing. The image revealed is of Christ despite it sounding like a bunch or things...it's all about Him!
