I was fortunate to drive this westbound a couple years ago. Wide medians are such an intelligent design feature of the Interstate highway system. No headlights in your face at night and no one is going to cross that wide median and hit you.
Back on the superslab, with just you, the critters (antelope, rather than deer, I guess, up to the CO line) and the members of the Leadfoot tribe, late for the Rockies game in Denver. Lots of nothing, which does look rather interesting, and no services (fill up in Moab). US 50 breaks away here and catches up in Kansas City. US 6 will play tag on-and-off the interstate all the way to Denver. The fun part is still ahead, including the Ike.

Looks like you may have taken US 6 off a little early as it don't get off until Business 70 / US 6 in W. Grand Junction.
