  • 📜The story of Georg Luger's Parabellum pistol is very rich. It begins with the transformation of the Borchardt C-93, with the arrival of the 1900 model, into 7.65 parabellum.
Then come the 1902 luger, in 9mm parabellum for US tests, then the 1903 for maybe French tests...
The German Navy will adopt the P04 and its 6 different variants! The luger 1906 will be very successful and will continue to be adopted by Switzerland and Bulgaria.
A new model, the 45acp 1907 will be manufactured but there are only 2 copies of listed. This 1907 was created exclusively for US tests, since our American friends only swore by the 45acp.
Finally, the German army adopted the P08, thus in 1908, which would remain the regulatory weapon until the arrival of the Walther P38.
The "luger artillery," or more precisely the LP08, will ultimately be a P08 with long cannon and shoulder butt, dedicated to the base to artillerymen, but widely used by other units.
