Cow trailing the Beta !!!!! Love it , this is how we all started out as kids - hitting the trails , funny I use to strap my fishing pole accross the handlebars on my 77 XR 75 Honda and go fishing at " coffee pond " it was a small trout pond we would hit in the 70s and it is still there to this day - people still fish there as well but society has moved in on it and it is not as quiet and private as once was - Beta ridability !!!! You can see my RX 300 in my you tube pic !!!
funny you should mention the xr75.....i was thinking about it yesterday......im 65, that bike was sweet......they should make an adult version today exactly what it looked like back in the day, but with a bigger motor of course......
Not a big fan of rocks myself. Have you ever ran a Rekluse auto clutch? I had one on my KTM and it was great in rough areas. Didn’t have to worry about stalling!
Gor the best one in my kx450... they work. It's still a 450 in the woods but climbing rocks and jumping logs is not more manageable when the bike stays running.
Yes Beta knows how to make 2-stroke engines run clean and smooth at super low RPM...perhaps all that know how from designing and building trials bikes👍
@@jrod264winmag I agree. However I think the Beta 4-strokes have very good low engine RPM lugging and so does my 2020 Montesa 4RT 4-stroke trials bike.
Both are woods focused off road suspension settings so they use the stroke to absorb bumps and you feel the chassis move more than a moto bike. The Beta KYB suspension is very good. The latest (25 model) 300XCW suspension has surprised me with more progressive damping and control feel compared to previous (23 model year and older) 300XCW settings.
I did some back to backs on a woods loop with my 24 Beta 300 Race Edition and my 23 TX300 (essentially a 300XC).... ua-cam.com/video/hsKEZ0G7F5k/v-deo.html I also did a back to back ride talking about the engine characteristics of each bike....ua-cam.com/video/676ror78-OE/v-deo.html
Do you ever get a chance to try a 24+ FE450 or 450 XCF-W? I would love to hear your thoughts especially since they have the 6-speed, updated X-ACT spring fork, and a few goodies the XC/SX bikes don’t have.
I've not ridden the 24/25 450XCFW but with lower compression ratio and 6-speed transmission it should be a very woods bike. I have played with the suspension clickers and CUO to dial back the power on my 24.5 KTM 450 Factory Edition and it does surprisingly well off road... ua-cam.com/video/Zvb4PI5gciY/v-deo.html I have also ridden the 24.5 450FE back to back with my 25 CRF450R on a woods loop... ua-cam.com/video/ZQCBkOk3tZo/v-deo.html
I am running the stock gearing and assume it is the same as the 2025 300 Race Edition like yours (14/48). I can understand that some riders might prefer a slightly lower 1st gear.
I know why they did it but that extra long front brake line needs to go.....lol.......its obstructing my vision to enjoy the front fender and it is kind of distracting
@@mxengineer1 ......i just watched my video riding around the yard and my xr200 front brake cable is in the same situation as yours....must be the angle of the camera and where its attached to the chin of the helmet.......so i guess its not as harsh as i thought sticking up in the way
Love the Beta content on your channel, keep it coming.
Italian style and work so well right off the showroom floor! Beta Rideability!💪
I'm envious those things are awesome 💯
Runs so good with Italian style!
I love mine. They are incredible bikes. Easy to go slow, easy to go fast. They’ve got the right idea going after rideablility.
Beta knows how to make a 2-stroke engine run clean and crisp with a simple carburetor and mechanical power valve....Beta Rideability!💪

Honda XR75....legendary motorcycle! I should have brought a fishing pole with me on this ride...next time! Beta Rideability!
Not a big fan of rocks myself. Have you ever ran a Rekluse auto clutch? I had one on my KTM and it was great in rough areas. Didn’t have to worry about stalling!
Yes I had the Rekluse Core 3.0 on my 2015 CRF450R so it has been a while! I am sure the latest Radius CX 4.0 is very good but it better be for $1499!
Gor the best one in my kx450... they work. It's still a 450 in the woods but climbing rocks and jumping logs is not more manageable when the bike stays running.
Nice , ya the beta’s ae sweet bikes.
It's amazing how the motor lugs so low.

2 strokes lug better than 4 strokes
@@jrod264winmag I agree. However I think the Beta 4-strokes have very good low engine RPM lugging and so does my 2020 Montesa 4RT 4-stroke trials bike.
How do you compare the suspension on it with the new KTM suspension?

I would really like to know how the Beta matches up to the 300 XC

Do you get any exhaust spooge?
No
What sprocket gearing you running?
Have you changed the power valve spring?
I got the 25 race and I find the 14t 48 that’s standard too high

No fancy transducers??!! Oh NOOOOOO!!!!
Simple is good!💪

You notice a lot of details!
