- Filipino Coconut Wine... You might have heard of it? It is known locally as "Tuba". But did you know that some people make a special mix with it?
"Koter" is a strange yet delicious coconut wine mixture here in the Philippines. Kinda of like a funky and unique coconut wine cocktail. On this day, JunJun and some of my local barkada decided to make and try this alcoholic drink in Cagayan de Oro.
This is a simple fun video of our day going around the city getting supplies and then making this Tuba Cocktail called Koter!

Kulas try to boil the tablea then pour it sa tuba it taste better and not lumpy tablea...
Tip-Melt the Cocoa first in hot water before mixing with the concoction, that way there will be no floating coco.

This is the first time I saw tuba mixed with tablea, beaten egg, royal orange softdrink. What I grew up is beaten egg is mixed with softdrink and tablea is grinded for use for making champorado where evap milk is poured before eating and tuba is drank pure.
i did this before kulas and yes it was good after tagay hubog na lami kaayo sakto sa barkada kalipay simple but tereble

In bohol we cook the tuba and put the ingredients,it taste good when its hot..
Nice cocktail. Delicious! I used to get drank by 1 liter of pure tuba refrigerated. My mind just went black. It's a strong coconut wine.

As kids, the made us drink a version of this sometimes when we were sick. Its only had two ingredients though- Royal true orange and raw egg.

I've never tried Kinoter, but I've seen my relatives cook the tablea to make a cocoa drink then add to the tuba..Koter is like Bailey's made local..

You should put hot water with the tablea to cook the tablea first.
