I’ve heard that there is a ritual in India that everyone is thrown at different colour powder, including Indian statue of God, like Ganesh, and people become colourful. Everyone likes it and feels delightful. I don’t know what this ritual is called.
Actually there are 2 festivals where crowds play with color. The main one is the color festival is in March, called Holi as Adi mentioned. But the one with Ganpati is actually Ganesh Chaturti and that falls in Aug. fun fact #2 :)

他们会拜布袋和尚，但是他们是把布袋和尚当作财神来拜，就是在求财。他们布袋和尚的布袋里装的就是财富。
好像是佛教拜印度教的神。其實，buddha的原意是指覺者的意思，不是指悉達多。中文翻譯成佛教，其實印度人的腦中是理解成“覺”的概念，不是佛教。而東南亞或中國所謂的佛教，只是印度教的一支，和耆那教甚至沒什麼分別。中國以為的諸法皆空，其實是中國式佛教的觀點，不是原始佛教的觀點。也不是所有廣義佛教徒的觀點。所以我們找不到梵文裡提到，諸法性空與諸法皆空的區別。我們也找不到梵文中對蓮花的定義。因為，我們認知中的蓮花，在印度並沒有。雖然他們也有所謂的“蓮花”，但是事實上，完全是不同的種類。
我們對佛教有太多的想像了。玄奘回到中國之後，中國並沒有在知識領域上，或思考領域上有任何的提升。中國也沒有像今天一樣，派遣大量的留學生到印度，甚至沒有將豆漿，文房四寶，指南車，蠶種傳到印度。王玄策甚至滅了印度。玄奘沒有一個悼念文。這就說明了，玄奘眼中的佛教，並非文學裡的佛教那般耀眼。
@@陳光博-k4c 悉達多是Sama Sam Buddha, 不止是 Buddha. 諸法既空是部派佛教的觀點，空性是大乘佛教（不分顯密） 的觀點，都是來自印度！你以為中國人會發展出很深奧的思想嗎？

亲戚或者比我们大年纪的人离开的时候也用一样的方式。
注意我们不会跟随便人或者某人用这种招呼。
是行礼方式，只有对长辈才这样行礼的。

In Hinduism it is a way to pay respect to elderly. This way it shows respect for eldely age , experience and wisdom and also seek their blessing.
