I had the Exact same question as a little child and always had a mind for questions of and about God... He has changed my life and my mind and has put a vocation and life in ministry on my heart.
Father any temptation or attacks on her vulnerability or her past bind it up and let it die in Jesus name. Keep her oh God near the cross. She is your child. She is your awesome and humble servant. Teaching your word🙏🏽
PERFECT example of why I've ALWAYS loved those sitting under teachers. Nothing wrong with preaching but the latter tends to lean to stimulating our emotions. In these days we NEED sound, scripturally based teaching like this.
I love this message so much. I broke down and then praised God for his mercy when Jackie said, “If the wages of sin is death, why am I still alive?” That was powerful to me. And as she explained the picture of Isaiah’s “Woe is me,” in verse 4, and him not asking for forgiveness, but receiving it when the seraphim flew with that hot coal was another that got me. In it I see the foreshadow of the gift of Jesus to the world. This is a gift of grace to us to which I can respond, “I’m still alive because of the blood of Jesus!” Thank you, Lord, for covering me and setting me free. The gospel of grace is available to all. Receive it today. Thank you, for this message!

“God’s wrath is an outworking of his revulsion against everything that is in contradiction to his very being.” This one sentence clarified a misconception that I held concerning the Old Testament. For the longest I hadn’t fully reconciled the wrath of God in the Old Testament with the grace of God displayed in the New Testament. I understood that his wrath had been poured out in the Old Testament prior to Christ making propitiation for our sins. But I’d never thought to consider God’s revulsion against sin being due to his identity as holy. It allows you to clearly see His motivation behind what he commanded His people to do in books like Joshua, 1 and 2 Samuel, and 1 and 2 Chronicles differently.
I really like Jackie I wish she could stop making deragatory jokes about women’s hair . It’s no different than if a man did it , it’s distasteful and off putting . And she always does it as a “joke”. Putting other women down will never be a joke .
