I got saved basically a year ago and Christ transformed me. I no longer take antidepressants and just knowing God and having him speak back to me is such an amazing experience I pray more people will have. Man I’m a construction worker and sus jokes, talking bad about others, complaining, and alcohol are all highly adopted parts of the construction culture. And when I realized I had to turn away from all of that to follow god, I knew it was gunna be one of the hardest things I have done. Which it was. The devil knows how to trap you to keep you from making that transition. I knew I wouldn’t fit in anymore and that’s what kept me from making that full commitment. What I learned though is that God sees these struggles that you go through for his name sake and he remembers.

But after a month my life has already improved, and I can feel myself growing closer to heaven. Lately I've been really struggling in my walk with Jesus and hearing you talk about how when you heard his preaching it made your demons react it honestly makes me squirm too when I hear stuff about Jesus and I know that's not good. Because of this video I decided to recommit myself to Jesus so I could use prayer from anybody who sees this. It's lowkey been an internal war for me. This video really convicted me and the preacher really killed it and spoke boldly but truthfully and in the proper manner I believe, and JiDion you speaking boldly and plainly and not shying away was encouraging and convicting to me too and helped opened my eyes.

@@customshelbyI think your idea of what Christianity is is a bit skewed . The goal of Christian’s or at least what the goal should be for Christian’s is not to condemn you. The goal is to show you how dire your situation is so that you would see what’s at stake and turn to Jesus so that through him you will be saved. If your friend was walking blindfolded towards the edge of a cliff then you wouldn’t want to stay quite and let them blindly walk into death, you would speak up and tell them to stop and turn the other way. Christ does not call us to show hatred toward people by condemning them to hell, but rather to speak up out if love for a fellow child of God and warn them of where their path is leading them.

While he is proven in the very existence of the universe and creation around us, it doesn’t matter if you’re not willing to accept it. All I can say is look around you and know that this is Gods creation and even though you may very well be a “good person”, you or me or anyone on this earth will never be good enough to live in heaven with God since we have been corrupted with sin. God is the way! 10 years ago I was at my lowest point in life, no job, no where to stay, and was moving in all the wrong directions! I turned back to Jesus started back focusing on the right way, now 10 years later I have everything I ever prayed for. Two beautiful kids a beautiful wife, a great job and I never want for anything because I know God always has my back, but is also leading me in the right direction! Praise God

I also want to follow Christ but am unsure of how to do so. After all, I don't even know if I'd be strong enough to resist the temptation and start a new life like that after living in sin for so long. Nonetheless, I think it's very brave what Jidion's doing. There is no formula, ask God to help you not to sin, genuinely ask. God knows we aren’t perfect. But talk to him and read his word. Even if you start 5-10 min a day. He sees that effort and sees your heart.❣️

God loves every single one of us with unconditional love. Your honesty of wanting to become a Christian, only worrying that you'll only return to temptation is a really good start. I recommend taking time out your day, though the commitment and responsibility may be impossible, and find a small space in your home to pray and read the bible. Start with 5 minutes and challenge yourself to read longer when comfortable. The most common and understandable bible is KJV, but you are willing to, reading ESV is incredibly informational. Just remember, when we get to heaven, God will remind us of everything we've done and the time we could have given him. Never be afraid to be different than people of the world. Just tell jesus you’ll surrender to his Holy Spirit and ask him to dwell in you and lead you from now on. It’s that simple
