THANK YOU!! I get this comment all the time and I don’t understand how someone read the title and watched the intro without knowing there’s going to be pauses 😄 the original is 3 minutes and this video is 10+ of course there’s a lot of pauses and discussion. The original video is always in the description if people want to see it without pauses 🙃
@@07_Junior I feel like I can do that with most genres except rap, rap is more lyric based so if I was to react to just how it sounds, it wouldn't be much of a reaction 😅
They weren't involved in this lifestyle, they told stories about this topic, not to glorify it. The goal was to tell how these things happen to poor people and that it sucks, to show that there are other ways. It's not about criticizing those who get involved in crime, but explaining the reasons.
Parece que alguem invocou os Brasileiros kkkk. Great reaction, get ready to have your channel invaded by Brazilians haha. I will leave my suggestion to react, Racionais Mcs - Jesus Chorou (English subtitles)
"Call me, call us, wherever is needed, in the heavens or in the judgment day." Contain slang in the formulation of your sentence, That in the case of "Call me, call us", it resembles more in translation with the word "invite".That in the general phrase means, for good things or bad things, can invite him, that they are prepared! Hope you can understand, because I think it’s a little complicated to translate slang, and thanks for the video I liked it very much
Ms Noelle, what a great video! Unfortunately, the confused state you were in the last minutes is because it's really hard to translate brazilian slangs and it's even harder to translate brazilian street slangs. So it's normal to not understand everything said but know that you got that main idea and point of the song!
I would recommend reaction videos to 'To Ouvindo Alguém Me Chamar' ( I'm hearing someone calling my name ) and 'Jesus Chorou' ( Jesus Cried ), both songs from Racionais MC's too! I don't know if there are already videos with English subtitles to these 2 but if you're interested, maybe I can subtitle them! Let me know! Waiting for your next videos! :)
I knew translating would be a problem but I didn't think it would be this bad 😅 rap is usually about wordplay and use of literary devices so it's hard to really grasp it without the full context but I'm glad I got the main idea 😃💕
Tbf this was early 2000's , this artist kinda evolved a lot since then when it comes to misogyny and stuff (wich honestly it's a progress if u see how misogynistic some american mainstream rappers are ) , but yeah he has some great lyrics but some of his old music didn't aged well
My personal recommendations from him are Negro Drama ( Wich is a song about the reality of black people in the big cities of Brazil) and a Carta de um detento ( Wich is basically he rapping over the letter of one of the inmates that died in a racial driven massacre in a Rio de Janeiro jail )
I love see your videos, you really have charisma. ❤ I think you would really like Bluesman (Baco Exu do Blues). It's a short film that won an award at Cannes. It's incredibly beautiful to watch, listen and think about.

Quebrar pra mim não seria a palavra certa... Destrinchar.
yeah, I'm not quite sure how you'd describe it that's why I put breakdown in the title and analysis in the thumbnail 😅
