Beth, i love so much your videos. Congrats..
From Brasil
FYI: Ze Ramalho used to be a gigolo in his early 20`s, he even wrote a song about this "Garoto de Aluguel/ Boy for Rent".
Please analyze the song Dona, by the band Roupa Nova, they are one of the most beloved bands in Brazil and make very beautiful and romantic music, I admire your work, a hug from Brazil.
Olá Beth, boa noite. This is the song you just heard. Espero que goste. Have a good weekend.
Sinônimos
How long does it take the heart to know that...
The synonym of love is suffering?
In a scent of loves there may be thorns.
It’s like having women in millions and being alone.
In the solitude of home, rest.
The meaning of life, find.
No one can tell where happiness is?
(Chorus)
Love is made of passions and when you lose reason,...
Do not know who will hurt.
Who loves never feels afraid to tell his secrets.
The synonym of love is to love.
Who will reveal the mystery... that has faith...
And how many secrets brings a woman’s heart?
How sad is the sadness begging a smile...
Like a blind seeking light in the vastness of paradise.
Who has a love in his life,...
Is very lucky.
Who in weakness knows...
To be much stronger.
No one can say where happiness is?
(Chorus)
Love is made of passions and when you lose reason,...
Do not know who will hurt.
Who loves never feels afraid to tell his secrets.
The synonym of love is to love.
(Chorus)
Love is made of passions and when you lose reason,...
Do not know who will hurt.
Who loves never feels afraid to tell his secrets.
The synonym of love is to love.
Synonym of love is to love.
Synonym of love is to love.
Hello! React at João Carreiro - Volta para o meu coração. 😘🇧🇷💓
Imagine when you hear Xororo full vocal potential that he unleashed in "Galopeira" 😅
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
yes, that! 👆🏻
Up
Yes, please!
React Galopeira please❤
Beth is almost reaching the nacional anthem - EVIDÊNCIAS. 😂
Please Beth 🙏😂
Yes! If you're listening to Chitãozinho & Xororó for the first time, it HAS to be EVIDÊNCIAS.
The song that transcends the fans of its own genre.
Just like Aline said, a national anthem and treasure.
The unofficial anthem of Brazil => Chitaozinho & Xororó , singing "Evidências".

Yes Beth🎉🎉🎉 evidencias
to vocal purposes she should listen to "Galopeira" too.
I'm brazilian, I don't like "sertanejo", but I LOVE Chitaozinho e Xororó. They are kind of a national treasure and even people that don't like sertanejo like them. And Xororó is the father of a a duo that are now following solo careers called "Sandy & Jr." And they are two of the most famous people in the country. Its a very famous family.
And Zé Ramalho is just FENOMENAL! I'm so in love with our music, brazilian music is just amazing, we are a very creative nation. I love us. Hahahahaaaa
You just said what i needed. 😂
Congratulations, my name is Fernando Lopes and I had the pleasure of working as a PA engineer for the duo Chitãozinho and Xororó, and the singer Zé Ramalho. Your considerations are truly relevant and truthful. I loved watching your video and hearing your conclusions.,
Thank you so much Fernando!
Zé Ramalho is the brazilian version of Jhonny Cash.
His main influence is Dylan.
I see him as the brazilian Bob Dylan
Greetings from Brazil Bob Dylan is incredible I admire your musical taste
He's more romantic than either of them, though.
07:25 haha funny he says "and how many secrets does the heart of a woman carry?". And she goes "awnnnnn" with the hand in her heart hahaha. :-)
Perfect timing haha
@@sunyp342 right? Hahaha I don't think she knew the lyrics haha
So funny
1:16 we have nasal sounds and non nasal sounds. If we avoid the nasal sounds, we change the word's meanings. in some cases the word turns to weird and funny meanings. Like "pão" (bread), without nasal sound, becomes "wood stick", "anão" (dwarf) without nasal sound also sounds funny. ◙ There's a "sertanejo" song named "tocando em frente" in which the author plays with these differences. He mentions words like "massas and maçãs", "manhas and manhãs". All these words really exist, and the only difference when you pronounce them is the nasal sound.
YEEEEEEEEEEEES, thank you!
Que comentário lendário
Kkkkllkkkkkk Ótimos exemplos
haha, yeah... wood stick is the literal meaning of pau. Just like Dick is a name, cock is a rooster, etc
Exactly, anão (midget) without the nasal sound is literally “anal” 😂
Ever since I found my love in Brazil I quickly came to love the whole country of Brazil. Thank you for bringing Sertao out of South America to share it with the world. The place where men commonly speak softly and where the most valuable things are people rather than money. If you spend much time in Brasil you will fall in love.
Welcome to BraZil my friend
Thank you for that. For understanding and recognize the lovely and simplicity of about of us!
Xororo takes *very* good care of his voice. He doesn't drink and is very disciplined about it. And yes, they are ALWAYS in perfect harmony. 😀They really aim at being impecable with their music. They are a national treasure, for sure. 🥰
You’re highly suspect to make this comment as your surname is also Lima😁
@@dilsonluiz3567 he's a Xororó missed Sun and Sandy's and Junior's brother... 😂😂😂😂
Chegou a hora de “EVIDÊNCIAS”! O hino. It’s time for “EVIDÊNCIAS”! The anthem
Total.
Spot on , Beth! Zé Ramalho calls himself a “cantador” , never a “cantor”. Essentially the “cantor” is a singer, but the “cantador “ is a story teller.
Exactly! It is a mixture of the word “cantor” (singer) with the word “contador de estória” (story teller): C(A)ntador
Perfeito!
Fun fact: the violinist is the son in law of Xororó and one of the most famous violinists here, xororó's daughter is a famous female singers in Brasil, her name is Sandy and she is a famous singer since the age of 7 with her brother, Junior, another famous multi-intrumentist. God, what a family.
And Sandy's voice and talent are simply unbelievable!
Imagina ela reagindo a Sandy & Júnior
Actually, that is the son-in-law's brother. Not Lucas (the son-in-law; or former-son-in-law, as Lucas and Sandy got divorced).
Esse não é o Lucas... Mas é da família Lima!
One thing I love about Zé Ramalho is his tendency to shift to a more spoken tone and back to singing, he is a story teller first and a sing second IMHO
Acho que Tim Maia também
Him and Raul Seixas
answerin': no post production they deliver it live
impeccably.
The rule is clear: you reacting to Brazilian you automatically you get a tons of likes and subscribers - please continue Beth, I would like you to react to more of our singers and our music :D :D
"How sad is a blind man seeking for the light in the ocean of paradise."
Idk why but this always bring me tears.
It's like a blind man looking for the light in the immensity of paradise.
How sad is sadness begging for a smile
You're awesome, Beth! Thanks for treating our culture with such love and care. You've made a fan out of me! ❤
i am from brazil. It's interesting to see people from outside analyzing our music
E a dicção?? Eu achei perfeita, consegui ouvir as palavras perfeitamente. É bom demais ouvir ele cantando.
Símio?
Exímio. Corretor cruel@@rodolfosiqueira1486
I got goosebumps, for true. These artists are so incredible, and probably one of the best Brazilian singers.
Yes he is...for decades
They are
This in the middle is Zé Ramalho, one of the best singers of the Brazilian history, take a look on his song called "Chão de giz", you will love it.
She already has a video about that song: ua-cam.com/video/gQLeacjTtrw/v-deo.html
All new to me Beth, tanks for the introduction. Variety, as they say, is the spice of life.
Love this!!
@@BethRoarsHi👋 could you react to "Era uma vez" from kell smith? She is an amazing singer with an angelic voice.Thank you very much for the reaction!❤
Try “Se Deus me Ouvisse” orchestra version with Sandy & Junior. They are Xororó’s children. You will be amazed, I guarantee
@@andreiaclopes89 Thanks for the suggestion.
Isso no Brasil é chamado de HINO!!!! Brasil é foda demais! 🟢🟡🔵⚪

Brazilian "sertanejo" is an underappreciated gem for the rest of the world. I strongly recommend you digging more on it.
Sandy & Junior, both children of Xororó, started singing together when they were 6 and 7 years old. They sang together for 17 years until 2007. The 90s pop scene in Brazil was them. They recently went on tour to celebrate their 30 years of career and sold out within 50 minutes of tickets going on sale.
Make a reaction of Xororó and Sandy singing the song Meu Disfarce together
Also, they have the “Se Deus Me Ouvisse” - orchestra version with Sandy & Junior!
Their beautiful high pitch is just mind blowing
Yes, it is important to remember that Júnior was a key figure for the duo, especially over the years when he specialized and became their music producer.
@@andreiaclopes89and the harmony there is even more incredible because there are 4 sets of different voices and it’s absolutely amazing
Cuidado hombre! 😂😂😂
roberto carlos canta mal e tem a voz feia 🫤
Bom lembrar Roberto Carlos
Oi! Obrigado, Beth!
Brazilian country music is strong, I remember Chitãozinho & Chororo’ when they were very young kids, singing at TV Record in a Country Music Show. They bring lots of viewers and introduce a new Country songs and stiles. Today many singers there still following them. Thank you to show our Brazilian Country music to the world. Obrigado !!!!
Hi Beth! I'm from Brazil and I love Heavy Metal, I discovered your channel through André Matos and Angra's videos, and now I'm here selling these icons of Brazilian music. Zé Ramalho is a legend here and you need to see a feat he did with Sepultura, it's simply incredible!
André was awesome. I discovered her because of this video as well.
their autotune is 40 years of experience
Really glad to see our very best artists getting some recognition overseas. Songs like "Galopeira", "Nuvem de Lágrimas", "Evidências", "Brincar de ser feliz" and "Alô" are probably the most genuine expressions of XX century Brazilian culture, and those singers have world-class pitch and technique. Hope we can see some more of our "country" songs, as you've rightfully mentioned in this great and joyful video, heard and appreciated worldwide. Viva a música sertaneja!
- Chose great music, great artists (to 🇺🇲)
- Escolheu uma grande música, grandes artistas (from ❤) 🇧🇷
You absolutelly should try "Sapato Velho - Roupa Nova", one of the most beautiful songs ever writen!
Yeah!
I'm really happy!!!! Bjos!!!
Beth, thank you very much for your kindness in always reacting to Brazilian singers, I suggest reacting to the most recent version of Gabriel Henrique and the choir singing "I Want to Know What Love Is" or singing "Stand Up" also with the choir, extreme high notes 🤯🤯🤯
Zé Ramalho is a legend
AMAZING!!
Só me resta dizer duas coisas: PARABÉNS e MUITO OBRIGADO!
I suggest reacting to Angra - Black Widow's Web ft Sandy (Xororó's daughter) and Alicia White-Gluz (Arch Enemy vocalist)

nao conhecia, achei um tesouro
Sou completamente apaixonada pelos irmãos Chitãozinho e Xororó 🥰 e Zé Ramalho representa demais o Nordeste brasileiro 😍❤️
So Beth, now that you've started to get to grips with original Brazilian music, I think you'd like to hear Zé Rico, from the duo Milionário and José Rico. A powerful voice. On the other side, there's the singer Vanusa, who the bad language says was plagiarised by Black Sabbath. There's a lot to see in Brazil in terms of music...
Keep in mind that they were quite old in that recording, and they still had powerfull voices. Thank you for covering that song!
Listening to Zé Ramalho singing ``Sinônimos`` without shedding a tear is close to impossible. He always sings so beautiful. Now TBH, I doubt there is post production here. Chitãozinho and Xororó are THAT good. I listen to their songs since I was a kid and, even though I am not a big fan of sertanejo, I never doubt their talent.
I loved the new way you're showing the singers, his history 😍
Please, keep it.
I'm truly happy seeing this great singers being shared with the world! Thank you so much ❤️
If you understand Portuguese, you have already stopped to listen to this song calmly and have never been moved remembering a story of your own life, perhaps you are living wrong, what sensational music, what fantastic artists.
The harmony is probably exhaustedly practiced. Brazilian sertanejo duos all work like this, with a main and a supporting voice. And Zé just blended perfectly.
Chitaozinho and xororo are legends. I really hope you do more songs by them. Xororó has such a powerful and bright voice, a national treasure
I love it, I am Portuguese and living in Brasil for more then 43 years, you've done such a nice analisis and I have to say that you are gorgeous.
Come to brazil, whenever.
Nossa música sertaneja raiz é linda. Esse 3 cantores, são muito bons. E o violinista também é muito bom.
500,000 people can't be wrong. it was the simon and garfunkle concert in central park 1981. their voices were great and this was a time to remember watch it on youtube
Ze Ramalho equals legend!!!! I've been at his show and it is stunning
This reminds me of those Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash collabs they used to do in the 90s. These voices match so perfectly.
It's so refreshing to watch your videos. We learn a lot from you and also see all the respect and genuine curiosity about other cultures.

Beth, you have a vast musical knowledge, enormously vast, I learn many technical things from you, I would never have known about these things if it weren't for that. This Brazilian here is very grateful to you.
And I can't help but praise your enormous beauty!! You have a femininity, charm, beauty and a natural sensuality, great!! The English must be proud of you!! A big hug from this Brazilian! Congratulations!!!
1. Their artístic names are not from comic book. But from a old caipira (sertaneja) song , from 1939, about singing birds. 2 the caipiras duets its sung like medieval discantus, because there is an interval of a major third between the two voices. The First Voice is sung, for example, in E, and the Second Voice is sung in C.
Hino!
I have goosebumps every time I listen to Zé Ramalho. He's a legendary singer/storyteller.
What a nice introduction of a different music style to your viewers! As a Brazilian it makes me feel honored. Keep up with your great job!

Wow what a show your reaction to this song! I remember the first time I had the opportunity to watch a show by the duo Chitãozinho and Xororó, in 1982 in a small circus "Tareco", in the small city of Itupeva SP, they still traveled in a small and old minibus.

Thank you for fulfilling my request!
The best thing about this video, besides your knowledge and appreciation of singing technique, is your research into the history of singers.

Bem obserevado...
What amazing homework you have done! richest content with additionals informations. really amazing

This song actually have a challenge in it. its a part when you need a lot of voice technique and breathing to do it, its amazing how high these guys can sing.
