Don't keep expectations from this movie... Karan johar said it's a love story not a historical movie... This itself shows how he ignores our hindu sanskriti... It's a bollywood movie not from Telugu industry which produces movies with our ancient heritage & traditional culture....
Love story at the emotional core like of Shiva and Shakti. Thats why the name of female character is "Isha" other name of mother goddess. The love story is to bring levity to the movie. Its mostly focused on spirituality and its roots. It has multiple themes. Half the movie will be set in premahabhart era. Action adventure fantasy mytho fiction. It have multiple themes running throughout the movie. Love is just one of it. Like in interstellar it was relationship of Father and daughter that brought moment of levity in that movie similarly in Inception the relationship of cobb and his wife. As Karan rightfully said you buy into their love and you go an adventure with them.
