  • NordicWoodJournal.com visited the contractor Niklas Savilahti on a nice clear-cut site where he was operating his new Ponsse Bear. In his early career, as an employee, he was operating also other brands, but since he started his own business, he has stuck to one brand - Ponsse. This is his sixth Ponsse (third Bear) since he started the company in 2005. Read more about the Ponsse Bear harvester at nordicwoodjour...

inget problem att hålla två träd i minuten där inte! Snyggt kört och enkelt att samla upp groten.

Definitely has 750 feed motors in it. I think for an h8 the 680 motors would be awesome since the 190 pump doesn't have enough flow to run the 750's more than about 14.5 fps.

I assume this is in Europe? How small of a diameter do you cut to length to? I’m in a logging equipment training program through my community college and we only go down to 6 inches in diameter.

In sweden we only do cut to length except for some utterly rare cases. We sometimes do sawmill timber down to 4" and pulpwood down to not even 2".
