The most impressive thing about that whole performance, even more impressive than the impeccable vocal delivery, is the masterclass on facial acting Jonathan Groff does, how he moves a couple of tiny facial muscles a fraction to completely change his facial expression from amused to furious to unhinged, back to amused, and then just plain nuts. Any theater actor should study this performance to get over the common theater actor tendency to be overly expressive that comes from having to act for people in the last row who won't necessarily be able to see subtle queues. The camera in a close up sees everything, you can be much subtler than you think, which is proven by this number. And for the people who might want to say that this is a professionally filmed musical, so it's theater acting, you're right, but the released show is edited from a couple of live shows + some special shoots with no audience to get coverage on stuff. I'm pretty sure that quite a lot of this performance was actually from these "no audience" shoots, especially the closeups.
Really not ok that you’re critiquing a performance and don’t know the singer’s name. This is one of the most masterful musical theatre performances ever, period. Absolutely brilliant.
Love your reactions. As an expert and connoisseur of music PLEASE react to the a cappella group, Voiceplay and their song, "When the Dragonborn comes ". You won't regret it. I can't wait to see/hear your reaction.
id love for you to react to another jeff buckley performace! i love the video you made about him already :) his performance of mojo pin at glastonbury is an amazing one to break down and analyze because his technique it truly insane i think you’ll really enjoy it
If you want to hear really incredible vocals, only female, find the Natalia Tsarikova channel on youtube, believe me, she's worth it :) I would like to see your first reaction to her vocals and a detailed analysis of her technique. She has many different cover versions by different artists, she even has Lara Fabian and Whitney Houston... :)

I love your perspective on the techniques and physical elements of these songs. Thank you for sharing!
He can be a great addition to MARVEL /DC or any big period based movie or a series like BRIDGERTON. He is awesomeeeeee

King George was also known as Crazy King George. Jonathan Groff played him musically magnificently. In my opinion.
For an ignorant like myself who didn't know that - I still got the crazy part from the performance!
One of my favorites songs in Hamilton
I dare say mine too! What's you second favorite? mine is satisfied

I would really love if you would react to Selena Quintanilla, an amazing Mexican-American singer with a tragic story, taken away from us far too soon.
