- Boston George, whose life was portrayed in the 2001 Johnny Depp movie "Blow," spoke to VladTV about the downfall of dealing drugs, including having $68 million frozen in his Panama bank account.
The former cocaine dealer explained why he didn't get out of the drug trade when his partner Carlos Lehder cut him our of the business, and George revealed that he was an adrenaline junkie that was hooked on the thrill of the game. George also explained that people initially get into the drug trade to make money, but he added that things shifted for him and he realized that he was more into the thrill of gambling with his life.

Boston George is a freakin LEGEND!!! Blow is a kick-ass movie, cinematic art that is timeless, perfectly written, perfectly casted and wardrobed and extremely realistic verbage and criminal content. I had to remind myself this was based on the life story of a man's life, not made up fiction. Boston George is one of many that was moving dope In those days but what separated him was his personality, heart, passion and moral compass that never strayed from true north, he was still a good man when he didn't have to be. That's what made his story worthy of Hollywood history. I believe we only tapped slightly into the man that he is and he has the wisdom most don't that could touch so many lives cuz he got that wisdom thru life experience.
