- In this video, we take a look at the best offroad truck type that can be found in the Truckers of Europe 3 game. This is a 6x6 truck from the Scania range.
The reason why it's so good for Off-Roading is because it has 6 Powered wheels compared to the others that provide either 2 or 4 Powered Wheels.
In the game, Scania R and S have the lowest ground clearance from all the trucks. However, this doesn't affect the performance overall.

You could call this 6x6 truck a 6WD (6 Wheel Drive) or even an AWD (All Wheel Drive) Truck.

The Scanias are Great
I think scania not good at diry road because they hit usually bottom of chasis and broke the motor.
They damage the engine many times and my truck was turning off in every turn it's hell

I choose 6×6 because if the rear tires get stuck and the front tires have traction (if it is touching the road) the truck will be able to move through the front wheels power and you will be less likely to stuck.

6x6's only disadvantage is that it's hard to make a sharp turn. I wish there was a button to switch between 6x6/6x4

Tell the developers to add
1) tipper trucks with high air suspension.
2) Also add customization to increase the air suspensions of any trucks Bcoz in offroads the lower of truck is keep hitting even in low speed.
3) tell them to add job within quarry map so it will be fun doing that job with tipper trucks .
4) tell them to keep adding challenging routes like quarry
5) potholes for looks realistic
6) sleeping area in quarry
7) it's time for double trailers too 🔥🔥🔥
8) Feature where we can move our truck from one city office to another city office
I did not know that the scania was a genius in the excellent quarry
Only two things are it can understeer a bit more than other chassis options. Also, Scania seems to be a little low for ground clearance. However, Scania 6x6 is still excellent.

I only use Actros 6x4 in that route hehehe I hope that Wanda will add Actros MP3 after the DAF because it has a 6x6 layout and its engine has stronger 650hp than the newer Benz that only have 625hp/630hp

It's still a toss up between the Volvo 8x4 and Scania 6x6, due to maneuverability issue of the 6x6 and it's super low front bumper hitting uneven surfaces
I really wish they add dump trucks and cement mixer trucks, with bigger tires with additional traction for offroad, 6x4, 6x6, 8x4, 8x8

The DNF truck on the 2nd test, you need to floor it so if it can move a bit not just lowering the pedal
As you can see on the top left of the screen for the DNF truck between 3:00 and 3:04 I pressed full gas and it kept slipping down. Therefore I used throttle control to try and accelerate it

the scania 6x6 is good for the quarry but the only think is the ground clearance the scania gets so much damage. i wish the developers turn the scania r500 into an r500xy bcz it has more gc than the normal scania

My best truck for the off-road in my opinion will be the Mercedes Arox, both MAN and Volvo. They all have high-ground clearance and enough power to get me through hard times.
Scania is good but you have to spend almost all the money you earned to fix it after delivery. Scania's damage after one delivery is normally 50%. The other trucks I mentioned have barely 10%.
Again that's my experience, you may have a different experience.

Yes, I understand what you mean. The Scania ground clearance is very low. Volvo FH is the highest ground clearance. I mentioned more about this in the description too 👌

That scania with 6×6 chassis is so unstable at high speeds with above 50 tonne cargo , Volvo with 8×4 is undisputed overall king for me
Yes, that’s why I think 8x4 is still the best for most other heavy weight scenarios. However, for low speed off-roading and hills, 6x6 is one of the best choices
@@solomontetteh yeah i just tried that 6 by 6 scania in quarry and its acceleration in off road conditions is spectacular.
Only disadvantage the 6x6 Scania has compared to Volvo 8x4 is the front bumper on Scania being way too low, much lower than the Volvo, which means it takes much more damage

For 6x4, the front wheels don't provide power. But 6x6 gives power to all wheels.
What if we compare the chassis that we used with power mode
When I use 8x4 on scania with max engine and gearbox, it slides alot when I choose a very heavy trailer like the wagon? Why?
The 128 Tonne wagon? That one is an extremely heavy trailer. I think this one requires some momentum before getting to the hill.
I don't know why you didn't put their gear ratio in the comparison, the Volvo with 32.04 - .78 gear ratio is the still the highest torque output possible in the game, despite having only 2 driven axles compared to the Scania 6x6
This is stock vs stock video for all chassis options. For all, I kept the gearboxes as default. As I've said, 8x4 is better for overall heavy trailers. Even if I did put those gear ratios, it might have lost even more in the top speed run.

Tried The Axor and it's not very good at the Quarry, little bit of traction but no enough, turn the wheels down hill it countinues straight😂🙆♂️...patience is needed to maneuver that Truck better ALOT OF IT😂.

Based on my experience the old Mercedes is the best truck for quarry because it has better clearance than other trucks

It can, but it may be just a bit less in performance for the 80 Tonnes and up compared to 8x4. I'm not quite sure
@@solomontetteh Maybe the 6x6 has more traction by just the numbers, but is less stable than the 8x4 since it's shorter, i'm not sure too :)
@@ehrenromblon5392 the 6x6 is less stable at high speeds, due to the turning axle being driven, thus less maneuverability, it also means it's top speed is lower, as the extra driven axle makes the drive train less efficient (similar to real life)

MAN is not bad at all. Most probably it's the truck with max speed in the game. I've been in the quarry several times with MAN 8X4 and it handled pretty well. Aside Scania and Volvo, MAN 8X4 with max upgrades could be good alternative.

One of the best, however the Scania body has the lowest ground clearance from all the others. Something to keep in mind for the bumpy roads.
