Oh dude! It’s so rad to find your channel and see you skating Dawlish and Teignmouth - I have so many childhood memories going on holiday down there with my family many times so this hits me. I remember this Dawlish park and the Teignmouth one suddenly being built by the time one of the trips rolled around and I always thought how sick that was for both of the towns themselves and sick for me considering my history with those locations. I remember learning to Ollie that oval 3 set into the rough blue pool in Teign where the park is built because the bandstand stage in Dawlish centre was too big (at the time). Ahhhh, memories! Anyway rad channel and videos dude, fully subscribed to you back! So rad to see ‘older’ dudes setting the bar, keep killing it!

I never did see the old area at teignmouth before the park was built as I only moved to Dawlish in 2013 and both parks were already here by then. I know what you mean about the 3 set on Dawlish bandstand located in the middle of the Strand green. I’m eyeing them up but currently there’s a huge Christmas tree lit up there and it’ll make a right spectacle, grey bearded old guy skating by the town’s Christmas tree….🤣 Dawlish has one of the last outdoor wooden minis in the area although it’s on its last legs even with its annual patching up. Dawlish skatepark has a cool 3 set that I love skating and a 7 that i consider from time to time as I would have nailed them in my youth but am more cautious nowadays. I spent my teen years skating Milton Keynes and all its blocks and steps. Where you based and when’s the last time you visited Dawlish! The sea wall area has changed so much since the storm of 2014 destroyed the Train line. Look forward to following your skate channel and thanks again dude! 👊🏻

@@simonvidetta1976 Took a few sessions to get my balance and board control together, then after that I'm fine. I'm not doing any tech stuff, just carving and grinding my way round the bowls. Cushion for pushing at my age. I don't film. Keep shredding Simon.
Definitely more interesting that football every time. You really have got the cleanest 180 no comply mate, and that frontside 180 Nollie was perfect too. Legend.

There’s loads of older skaters I follow on UA-cam ranging from 30’s to 50’s, all abilities from just starting to well seasoned but all just as Rad. If you decide to start please document it and get it on your channel, the UA-cam skate community it’s so encouraging and in 2 yours I’ve only had 1 negative comments for a nob I’d never heard of so I just blocked him and deleted it ✌🏻
One more-there’s always room for one more after the one more.😂Scott (Dad Leisure Skateboarding) has the Barely Coping Crew, maybe we should start a global crew-Kickflip Frustrations! I'm 50 and moved away from Santa Cruz Ca U.S. where the skatepark park has a small 3.5 mini bowl. I miss it more than anything. Skating it was like tai chi for the soul with cardio and endorphins thrown in.

Man that 2nd kickflip was so close. Something that helps me from time to time is to get my feet into position then just think Ollie. Don't think I'm doing kickflip think I'm doing an Ollie.

With the kickflip keep your back foot on the other side… you’ve got it your where I’d put it foot for a varial. Pop more in the other pocket 🫡 so back foot in the back pocket/tail (not really in pocket but you what I mean) and front foot counters it with the flick. Back foot should pop it into the flick more Making the flick easier 👊 I think you’ve got em

Actually forget that first bit of advice… you did have your foot in the right place! Your toes were just hanging off the board a little! Bring that foot back a smidge! Glad you replied because now I’ve read it back… I’ve realised I must of got confused.
