Maggie 在瑞士 Get some sluggo. It’s a natural slug killer. It is coated iron pellets you lay down and the slugs are drawn to its coating. The iron suppresses their appetite and they die. Alternatively you could go out just as the sun rises and the dew is still on the ground and pick off the slugs and drop them into a container of soap and water or feed them to your chickens, if you have them. Last, you can bury a small can (like cat food or canned tuna) in the ground where you have slug problems and pour in some beer. The next day or two, usually the next day, you will see slugs that have drowned. They really like beer. Hope this helps.

Squirrels are almost impossible to keep out of the garden because they will climb up anything to get in there. I have resorted to using live traps to catch them and then taking them a couple miles away and releasing them. Its a never ending process, but it does seem to help somewhat on reducing the amount of squirrels in the area.

I feel that vegetables I grow are for my garden Snails, tell me about that!
I see that you have those solar lights that flash at night. So do I and did not work long to deter deer😢
Lol Right they dont work but they have lasted 4 years.

I listened to your video about neem oil and the specific one to buy. I found this and i want to know if this is the right one. The brand here at our LOWES is Garden Safe Brand Neem Oil Extract Concentrate says 3 solutions. in one bottle, Fungicide,Insecticide and Miticide. It says it is Clarified Hydrophobic Extract. Is this what i can use?
Ann Stone no

Nope. Thats the refined stuff, anytime it says hydrophobic, they removed the good stuff. I do sell it. You want 100% cold pressed.

@@THERUSTEDGARDEN will do thank you. And I didn't realize being super new to gardening how to drive them in properly.
How about squirrels ?
Squirrels are almost impossible to keep out of the garden because they will climb up anything to get in there. I have resorted to using live traps to catch them and then taking them a couple miles away and releasing them. Its a never ending process, but it does seem to help somewhat on reducing the amount of squirrels in the area.
Trap and release.

@@THERUSTEDGARDEN thank you....I know there's not much to do about them. I do have a small greenhouse which helps and I did purchase your peppermint oil last week. Works great on insects.
@@jzak5723 thanks for the tip
Don't rabbits dig holes? They can get into the fenced area by going under the fence.
No issues so far. I lay wood down the fence line that would force them to dig bag 4-6 inches and they probably arent interested.

Hi Gary the groundhogs could damage the pepper and tomatoes if they're planted in 20L buckets?
They could. I never really dealt with them causing havoc. Had one for days try and chew through my fence but the fence won.
