Was a buzzz guy for 2 years. Once I threw the rift it kicked out the buzzz.

I think the Z Buzzz's overstability is why it's so good. It allows you to cycle a couple in your bag, so you always have a slightly overstable, a straight, and an understable Buzzz. That cyclability isn't as strong with the Rift. I do greatly prefer the feel of the rift though. I've switched to Reactors as of late to get the same rounded and full feel of the Rift plus the slight overstability of a Z Buzzz.
Completely agree! The Buzzz being naturally semi overstable gives one the ability to break them in and cycle, giving you a wide shot variety. For players that can throw a mid 325ish and up, I would definitely recommend the Buzzz since they have the arm speed to overcome some of the Buzzz torque resistance and get it to hold straight and keep the reliable finish. For me, I feel the Rift does that for players tossing mids in that 250-300ish range (like myself 😅). Both are amazing discs and can fill a slot in everyone’s bag!
I think DGA has killed the marketing this year because being a Midwest Discraft guy, I recently started experimenting with DGA and cannot say enough good things about the rift. If you bag a pro line and an SP line, your set and it goes consistently 25 feet further than my buzzz’s, so I bag 2 rifts now and still bag one buzzz because it is so near and dear to my heart even though I really have no use for it anymore. Also, the steady BL is my new putting putter from using lunas, their incredible beadless putters. On top of that, I throw a breaker as a throwing putter now, bag a 2019 worlds hurricane and the DGA tour series Pipeline has kicked the avenger SS out of my bag, they go further and are so much more predictable in the mid flight and in the finish. DGA is killing it. I also bag a PL Pipeline as my beat up undertaker shot because they just do go farther. It is what it is.
I’m happy that so many people are being introduced to DGA this year! Their discs are SO good, but are always slept on. Quake is probably the best OS midrange in the Discraft/DGA family and the Pipeline is one of the most versatile fairway drivers!

I hear amazing things about the rift… I bought one once but it disappeared before I ever even threw it(I did throw it in the winter but it flys differently then) in the summer. I blame my son but it was probably me.

How does it feel and fly compared to the Tremor? I love how thin the Tremor is as a mid. I have smaller hands and most mids are thick.

For some people I would say yes. For others no. Depends on one’s arm. And the shot one is looking for. 😊
I like my rift way more than my buzz but they’re hard to find.
Definitely can be. Usually they get a couple restocks a year and sometimes Ledgestone will do a run. May take time, but we’ll worth it!
@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf I actually did pick one up yesterday and I don’t have a slow arm speed. I can throw my buzz 400 feet, I just Feel like I have a lot more control with the rift and throw it more easily Especially through the woods!
