For those who don't know: "Hard" in the title actually meant hardware. Also, Sega Hard Girls has always been Japan only. This game is literally the first time SHG was localized and they somehow kept the name. Plus, although this is well-known, there is another villian that is also named Time Eater in a SEGA-related game that involves time travelling and has two main playable protagonists of the same gender and at least one of them has the main color scheme of blue, related to floating gold rings and has shoes that have the colors of red, white and gold and they can collect floating currencies and a hidden collectible on each place they visit. Also, the game has the option to switch to JP dub and Kate Higgins voices a character. Try to figure what game that is. Some spoiler facts: The endings that you achieve will be based on when you defeat the Time Eater. - Bad End if defeated on first encounter. - Normal End if defeated after the first encounter. - True End if defeated after meeting some specific requirements. Impossible in the first encounter. You can actually win the first fight against the Time Eater, although it's recommended for you to lose if it's your first playthrough, if you grinded hard enough (or New Game Plus). It will give the Bad Ending. Also, when you get the Normal Ending, you will be given the option to continue playing the game to get the true ending. The scenario would be that they mysteriously traveled back in time, probably because of IF and Neptune's feeling that they didn't uncovered everything then catches Segami again before heading to the library.
1:50- Girl falling from the sky... oh ya thats totally normal in this franchise Me: hmmm... neptune fell from celestia in the original, fell from celestia again in rb1, fell onto Noire in Victory and RB3, fell onto Noire in the anime, fell next to Noire into the ground in the Anime, Peashy fell out of the sky in the anime at one point.... ya guess ur right. totally normal -_-
Plutia also fell from the sky and crushed Noire in the anime. In MK2/Re;Birth 2 Nep falls from a tower when meeting IF and Compa for the first time (at least in that universe). In VII Nep also falls from the golden summit (the tower that gave B-Sha her powers). They do fall a lot.
About the dialouges: The localization for example took so much creative liberties with the translation they literally rewrote Segami's character into a huge bitch. Which is infuriating in my opinion. The game is in heavy need for a retranslation patch but it just doesn't seem to have enough popularity for that unlike the Re;Birth games.
OF COURSE U STARTED THE VIDEO OFF WITH IF CURSING XD XD XD!!! I would normally say that was one of the funniest moments in the game but somehow it wasnt. soooooo many funny moments in this game!!!
yep same applies to the vita version: the game is fun and well written as always but 1) controls are super clunky 2) combat is the worst in the neptunia series 3) assets are for the most part recycled from the past games. When it comes to neptunia the story/writing is really the point of the game tho... so I enjoyed it anyway ;) For newbies I still suggest they start from Megadimension VII (by far the best in the bunch).
What is Megadimension VII? LOL! There pops up more and more different Neptunia games, as if there wasn't enough :D I thought I should start with Neptunia Re Birth 1 and now there is something like Megadimension, which is als a Neptunia game? And what about the "VII" :D I totally give up on the franchise now. It's too much for me :D
@@corpuscallosum5862 The Canon titles are in chronological order: Rebirth 1 Rebirth 2 Rebirth 3 VII or VIIVR (I suggest VII) 1 and VII are the best. 2 and 3 are big but have too many characters and recycled things in my opinion. The spin offs are cute, my favourite is megatgmension blanc Vs zombie. It takes the amazing musou gameplay from action U with a quirk story with well written dialogues. Action U becomes repetitive and feels too big for such type of game. Goddess Online has good reviews, it's nice but I feel like skipping most of the cutscenes but most of the boss battles are fun.
So apparently no one actually looked at my channel before subscribing haha. If you look at the videos I've been doing in the last 6 months, almost half of them is stuff like this.
YellowSuperNintendo a few months back when I typed yellow super nintendo it took a lot of scrolling down to find your channel. Now its the first thing on the list
I played a few till vii? I can't really like the game due to recycled models and environment. The story is light hearted at best. Going to skip neptunia games for now.
The writing in this game is perfection. "Are you sure your name is Saturn? I'm pretty sure it's actually Satan!"anyone.
The delivery was even better
tamsoft make a good game and then add fanservice, unlike.... other titles
That's one @%#*$ way to start a video
The Japanese use the word 'Hard' for game consoles. I'm pretty sure it comes from shortening either the word Hardware or Hard Drive.

Thank you for the info

Neptune also fell from the sky in a Re;Birth 2 flashback.
RIP Noire

He said, "It sounds like there's a surprise underneath that skirt." Nearly spat out my water from laughter. 😂😂

i srsly just gives reading the dialog and just listen to japanese voice instead only reading when i dont fully understand what they saying.
I agree with that. I seriously couldn't stand segami in the game. She was such a jerk to neptune too.
Woooow the asset reuse is STRONG in this one. That dungeon at 4:35 is the EXACT same one in Rebirth 1. Maaaannnnn.....
OF COURSE U STARTED THE VIDEO OFF WITH IF CURSING XD XD XD!!! I would normally say that was one of the funniest moments in the game but somehow it wasnt. soooooo many funny moments in this game!!!
Hey, nice to see you here, I like ur vids :)
What cursing? It started with censorship
The game looks better than the main series artistically or, at the very least, I find it to be more aesthetically pleasing.

Lmao I got a bike ad before the video started.
Whatever you do, don't modify it.
0:03 Now why would localisers deliberately include explitives only to censor them? Why even bother?
Will catch this on sale. ^_^
Nice vid

The hardware is the hard in hard girls, dreamcast chan is cool
hey i saw your ps2 video is there a chance that i could get 1 from a pawn shop
Only one way to find out
Those special editions now looks really Noice.
Wow great intro. This is the first time i heard an anime game character says eff.
It's a really good short game. I disagree with your take. It's really worth it for the price! A really funny story too.
I'm hoping they will make more games for switch
I love If so much!
Also, Your Patreon isn't in description.
It's been added now, thanks.

The beginning of kind of shocks me
nepbike ftw
What came first Neptunia, or Sega Hard Girls?
Neptunia
The Time Eater looks like a bootleg Biollante
Does the gameplay smooth on ps vita?

Nope
3:10 ankward frustating platforming and camera movement in a textureless level..
is it a bubsy 3d sequel?
The bubsy 3d model gave me nightmares back when I was a kid
