The most creative and simply most best 10 years in the history of music EVER!
"The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and The News was used in the Back to the Future movie. It was not originally written for that movie though. Robert Zemeckis (the director) asked Huey to write a song for the movie because he thought Marty would be a fan of that band. Huey didn't want to write a song specifically for a movie because he had never done that before. So Robert said to just send him something. They had just finished recording The Power of Love, so they sent him that one.
Huey also had a guest appearance in the movie. He was the guy in the gym that told Marty's band they were too loud.
That's my favorite movie of all time
I'm so shocked at how many classics you don't know, they're still played on the radio today
The 80's was a lifetime ago!!!!!! Man, am I old!🤣🤣😂😂
Ok guys, I’m horrified that neither of you have heard Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler 😊🤣 It’s was a world wide hit, a world wide classic and a world wide karaoke favourite. It’s absolute must to react to 🔥🔥
I agree. You must react to that.
Some encouragement:
That song is actually about vampires. It was written by the guy that wrote a lot of Meatloaf's songs and Meatloaf thought it was meant for him to do as a duet. But the writer (the name escapes me) didn't want him singing it.
@@dragonwood4562 yeah, it was Jim Steinman that wrote it and as you say he wrote all of Meat Loafs songs
@@colinstevens2691hii😊
Idk man you shoulda been penalized for "Mama Don't Preach", by Madonna since it's actually "Papa Don't Preach".
😅 definitely point docked
If I could go back in time and freeze it, it would be the 80's, particularly '81 - '87. Best music and movies! Plus, I was in elementary school and had the best memories from this period...everyone was alive, healthy, and young. How I miss the old days...
Same
dont forget all the great cartoons
I was a teenager in the eighties and I listen to the music all the time.I got all songs right. Thanks for playing .Brings back memories.💖💖💖💖💖💖💗💗
Bubbles is the hands down winner she even caught the mistake!!!! Does she have her own reaction channel?? lol YES I SENT YOU LIKE A PRAYER..
😂❤️❤️.. her Channel is OkayAshh
@OkayRickk Definitely do Hughie Louis,The Power of Love, and Oh Shiela by Ready for the World
Phil Collins “One More Night”
🗣😉I can Feel a Few Double Bangers in the Air ! lol...😊👌🤜🏻🤛🏽🎶🎵🎼
Now i definitely feel old this definitely took me back to my generation the 80,'s baby , i knew every song we had some good music back in the 80's
. Thanks for taking me back to my generation love yall this was fun you should do one of the 50's , 60's 70's 90's greatest hits that be cool
Enjoyed this.Thanks ya'll ❤
I think I remember you in my past life. We used to go crusin'.
I could've have sworn that the order for Michael Jackson songs in '83 were Billie Jean, Beat It, and Thriller.
Every breath you take, the stalker song.
The 70's were a great time to be a kid, the 80's were the best time to be a teen. I graduated in 88. The 80's had so much promise, the 90's were the beginning of the end of the good times. The 2000's started the end of the middle class.
At This Moment - Billy Vera
I stopped counting the ones I know and started counting the ones I don't remember. Ten I didn't remember.
Can't fight this feeling is by REO Speedwagon
Phil Collins is "one more night" reo Speedwagon was " I can't fight this feeling" it was a mistake same name for two different songs
You are both very attractive and sweet humans! I grew up in the 80's and this is so much fun! I'm 50 but still a little 80's girl at heart. Love too u both ❤️ it's like the soundtrack of my childhood. 😊
Watch the movie purple rain
Christopher cross- sailing
I think one of the mistakes was chariots of fire as it is a instrumental song.
Now my old ass has to go update my playlist..😂 great reaction video
i think knowing the ghost busters song from the movie counts cause that's how i know the song
That’s how we all know the song,
I knew them all though. I'll be 50 in May.
I turned 15 in 1980 so the eighties I know.. I know all these songs great decade
I feel you brother on that father talk you said before the vid. Sorry for loss.
I enjoyed your reaction and as a child of the sixties, I got them all right...lol I would love to see you react to the only country vocal band, Home Free. While they are mainly country, they do covers of every genre. They started out mainly doing covers, but now are releasing a lot of incredible originals. I'd love for you and Bubbles to react to their Stargazer Lilies Trilogy, written by their high tenor, Austin Brown. The first song is a prayer to help him find the love of his life (Give me a Sign), the second song is about how happy and grateful he is having found the love of his life (Stargazer lilies - his (recently married) current wife is in the videos) and the third song is about how he almost missed her because he was afraid to approach her (MR). React in that order. The sound is amazing, as they always are, but the lyrics are award worthy in my opinion as well.
Sugar was a cover of the archies from I think the 60's.
Saw you perk up with Prince’s Batdance. You should react to that one. The video is a lot of fun.
One More Night was Phil Collins
You 2 rule!
Steve winwood- higher love
Easier to count what I don't know and that was 10
Tiffany- i think we're alone now
BTW... How about you do this same thing but to the 70s.... Whole different vibe 😎
that look of disappointment when Ghostbusters?
On UA-cam music it will give you a bunch of songs in that time period and Xanadu is a great movie had a lot of hits by elo and Olivia Newton John
Welcome to real music
Should have been Reo Speed Wagon - Can't Fight this Feeling
Phil Collins - Can't Stop Loving You
I read that the Vatican actually condemned Madonnas song “Like a Prayer”
That's cause they are
Come on Eileen.
The songs are cut off too soon to appreciate them.
There's a lot that are not on this
Poison - every rose has its thorn
Wow.. it took you 10 min to get through less than 10 songs.... cant do it
Definitely Hall & Oates was totally 80's :) Do some John Mellencamp: Jack & Diane or Hurts so good, Van Halen - Jump, Huey Lewis is a must Power of Love and plenty more, Paula Abdul - Opposites Attract and Cold Hearted.
Hey Rickk!
how about “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” by CDB…
just so u know; I don’t have tweeter, book-face, or any other social media, just UA-cam.
This one was fire 👀👹
Eye of the tiger is rocky 3

I'm sure some of the years and songs where wrong the main one was rick astley I'm sure never going to give you up was 1987 not 88 and Gloria Estefan 89 not 88
Milli Vanilli shouldn’t have been allowed they were fake never sang anything! It was all lies!
Great job!
I couldn't do the videos to these due to pasting to you
eh I'd rock the shirt I guess 🤷♂🤷♂
Pls react to - Baby come to me - by Patti Austin
Enjoyed your reactions. However you need to correctly remember a title. So points docked for Madonna song. It's Papa don't Preach. Not mama. Sorry hun.
Where's Kate Bush?????????
You recognize all of the American songs, of course. But you're not familiar with European songs. Which is typcal for Americans. There's no world outside of America. There is!!!!
I hate chariots of fire
Check out Sugar Sugar, the original version by The Archie’s please
